Hello DSMTUNERS!
I should have joined the forum a long time ago, but used other resources to build my car. There is SO misinformation floating around on Facebook though, so I always double and triple checked against google searches which typically channeled me to some type of forum.
I’m on my third dsm, but until the latest, I really didn’t dig into the platform.
My first 4g63 was a 97 gst fwd manual. Had gotten it in a trade and knew NOTHING about these cars. So feeling lost I ended up selling said car to quickly get out of the platform.
My second 4g63 was a 95 tsi fwd manual panda( I do have a dsm profile on it but not much listed) it had a slew of issues. One of those that had been tinkered with and just passed along. That car ended up having oiling issues and it wiped the intake cam lobes I started to build the panda, but came across a 95 Eagle Talon TSi awd manual car, so I switched my build over to it.
The 95 Eagle Talon TSi AWD is the one I spent my time, money, and patience on. I do have a full, up to date dsmprofile on it. This car is the one that really pulled me into the platform. Researching, asking questions, and more research. I’ll be making a build thread on it though engine build is finished(for now
).
Anywho, I’m really glad to be a part of this community. Almost family. Seems everyone knows everyone and people are always willing to help and shed light and knolwedge. I’ve added a quick picture of the three that I have owned, in order. Stay tuned for updates on the 95 tsi Awd.
