Hello,

I registered here about 15 years ago but never did much. I am working on getting my 91 TSi back in shape and my biggest stumbling block is the ECU which I am working through with the help of the members on this site.

My avatar picture is of me when I was 9 years old. That was by dad leaving the garage of a very small jeep dealer ship of where he custom ordered this same car 28 years ago. He has passed on and I promised myself to keep the car running in his honor.

There's something about DSM cars that I am drawn to, maybe because of the many road trips and lack of care of speed limits back then.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad. Very cool to see the car live on through you after he had bought it new.

Your avatar brought a tear to my eye before I even read your post because I knew what it was. Dude, get that thing running! All the info you could ever need is on this forums some where.

We are all here to help, I want to see that car run again too, just to finish the story!!! Love it and the picture.
