thanks alot man yea heres the link to how i made them for mine.very nice build man.. do u have the link to ur thread on the bumper install with the pushlocks?
i emailed them about 3 weeks ago and they never got back to me. i remembered your cage in the black talon and it was top notch work. i think my issue is its a pre bent cage and most shops dont want to mess with ithttp://www.diamondracecars.com/ in Whitehouse, Ohio
i might give the a call in the morning. ive gotten a quote from eric jarvis from mad scientist auto and seems fair. not to far of a drive either. You might have better luck calling. I've never had them email me back before.
ive gotten that alot from local places . i did find one place in kentucky thats going to squeeze me in.Dan is the man but super busy this time of year.
not yet thats the one thing it needs is a good alignment. we did the string method and eye balled everything to get it going but a good alignment is coming soon. i want to see how far the car squats to adjust rear camber accordinglyAwesome build man. Do you do anything special with your wheel alignment?
ive never checked it at the line but it that port should still be getting the same pressures as the engine sees. tbh i havent worried much about the nitrous stuff on the car because it really hasnt needed it. the car gets on the converter without it (takes about 6-7 seconds depending on trans temp). weve done one test to make sure it worked and i tried using it once the last year at thootout and had the power wire come loose so never used it since the test. its only there to get the car on the 2step quickly. it doesnt get sprayed down track. im beyond ready for that slip . right now im patiently waiting to get the car into the shop to get the cage put in so im safe. then once i get it home ive got to do all the yearly maintenance (oil change, injector cleaning, ect.) then its going to get re tuned on high boost. If I may ask, how much fuel pressure is running out the back of the AFPR to, I assume, the gas solenoid? I see the extra line, like I was going to do, just worried about pressure fluxuations at the nozzle and don't ever want to go lean.
Car is looking great and I bet you can't wait to get that 1st 9 slip!!!!
Thanks!
when we tested the kit on my car we just bumped the button, on my tuners old auto car he pressed the button until it blipped the 2step and let off. dual pistons and a hawk brake pad is what im using on the front of mine and its holding the car @ 4100rpm building about 15psi on the 2step.I am watching and waiting!!!!
Thanks for the reply.
I have 3 NO2 kits just collecting dust and have used it before on my other hobby cars, but never to get up on the converter, just to get down the track so it will be testing to see what happens. IDK if you "bump" it or lay on it to get on the converter but I know I am needing to find a dual piston front brake setup now that the time is getting closer. I still have a couple months probably though.
Thanks again!
