Hello!
Just a simple question:
There is any 2G with two brake lights from factory?

Example: brake light from 98 + brake light from 95

I heard some 96' had two brake lights from factory.

Thanks

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking about, but basically when it comes to brake lights on 2Gs, here's the deal:

On US models, the 2G brake lights are all the same. The center section (where it says ECLIPSE) does not light up. So effectively you have one brake light on the left, and one on the right. They glow full red while pressing the brake pedal.

On EU models, the 2G brake lights have 4 separate sections. One is the indicator (orange), the other is the center section where it's empty, the third is the fog light (to the left of the center section), and the fourth is the actual stop light + dim light.

Another thing to note is the two different spoilers. The '95-'96 models have a third brake light on the low spoiler in the middle. The '97-'99 models have a high rise spoiler without a brake light, but there is a center light inside the car, under the rear hatch window.

Hope this helps?

Oh, thanks for this!
I was talking about the "extra" brake light that depends of the spoiler.

95 : A small horizontal section
98: A "red square"

Sorry for my bad english. But i think its better now

Thais the point!
My Friends said he saw a 1996 GST with Both. Eu Tb this center Light insiste the car and the low spoiler in the middle too!

Oh I see. So your friend saw a '96 which had both the center brake light inside the car (under window), and also on the low spoiler? Maybe he just added it for some reason?

I think the car owner added it... But my friend defends the idea that this (brake lights inside the car and one more on low spoiler) is original from factory on some 96' models....
