i replaced my rear rotors and now my parking brake is dragging on the rear right wheel. it drags on the new rotor and the old rotor.
What should I do to fix this?

Loosen up the tensioner..... It's the adjustment rod with a star wheel. It's the same system as drum brakes.

Sidenote, it grinds super bad when I turn sharp left what could that be?
It also didn’t do this before i took the old rotor off

You probably bent the dust shield or something. You need to pull the wheel off and diagnose it yourself.

I drew a line with sharpie down the whole rotor and the only place it’s making contact is a small portion of the parking brake not even the whole thing, I’m so confused because it gets so loud when I turn left only and just barely touches when I drive straight you can barely hear it.

You do understand your parking brake doesn't use the rotor surface. If you have a mark on the rotor surface and it isn't being taken off then your service brakes are not working.

I also wrote a mark on the area the parking brake expands into (dont know the name) the regular brakes aren’t dragging

Parking brake is pretty simple. I've seen cables freeze. Is everything intact?
Yah everything works correctly it just drags a little bit all the time then makes a worse grinding noise when u turn sharp left but not when u do a gentle left and like I said the whole parking brake isn’t dragging only a small portion of the whole thing maybe 15-20% and it’s not like it’s on the edge of the parking brake surface either. I’m pretty sure the old rotor wore the parking brake super weird and now I just gotta flatten out the parking brake surface by driving it but that doesn’t explain the hard left grind unless that is something totally different but I doubt it because it got worse when i changed the rotors

It shouldn't make any difference whether you're turning or not. At this point, I would suspect something else is the issue, such as a worn wheel bearing.

Did you change pads too? Were the pads and rotors hard to reinstall if you just changed rotors? It's one of the items mentioned above.

Check dust shield
Check Parking shoe mechanism
Check caliper slide bolts to make sure they're not seized
Check parking brake cables
You might have something stuck between rotor and pads

Shouldn't be that hard to figure out. Just disassemble and recheck your work.

I had a helluva time changing rear rotors on my 96 (with regular solid rotors, not the vented 95 style) They were old and warped and when I put new ones on I had a constant grind on right turns (on the left wheel mostly). After trying several different rotors with the same results I realized the inner lip of the rotor was rubbing on the edge of the plate underneath and no matter how much I grinded off the wheel it still rubbed at the top on turns. I had to use a rasp bit (or grinding stone) to remove the edge of that inner lip. Also had to back off the parking shoe a lot and readjust the cable afterwards. It was extremely aggravating since I was still getting the rub when the car was on the ground in turns but not in the air so needless to say it took awhile to get it right. I've had several neglected DSMs but never had a problem with rotor fitment until this one. I just chalk it up to years of neglect by previous owner.

make sure the e-brake is adjusted correctly:

then do the bedding procedure:

if its still making noise its probably the wheel bearing like lasthope05 already said

Glad you finally fixed your issue. Maintenance is key to longevity since our cars are old as dirt now. The thing that I don’t understand is seeing all these leaking oil filter housing. The seal is $8 and with basic tools, it takes a few minutes to change when changing your oil. :idontknow:
