Awesome job! Looks like a private track session and the car dialed in

Very impressive! What is the weight of the car?

8.89 was with no nitrous
8.67 was with a 50 shot that came on at 10mph and shut off at 120mph which is just before the 1/8
current weight of the car is not known but is guessed to be around 2550.

That’s just insane! I can’t wrap my head around how that’s possible with that tiny bolt on housing LOL. It makes me wanna upgrade everything BUT my turbo LOL. Super awesome video thank you for posting :hellyeah:

I wouldn't call a nitrous shot that starts at 10 mph "for spool". But yeah, spray is spray regardless of what turbo you have.

An 8 second pass, on a 14b or a gt42r is still a bad mofo.

It uses nitrous at the line to get the turbo up on the convertor. Once it gets near the 2 step rpm, nitrous shuts off. on the "nitrous" pass they turned in on again down track.

The nitrous to spool really doesn't help the et (provided they could still it on the convertor). Where it helps, is that it lets you build a setup less comprimised towards building torque at low rpm, and build a setup that will make more power. If they had to be strict no nitrous it would likely slow down as it might require a smaller intake, less cam, and a looser converter to allow it to get on the convertor. At least in a time frame that would make it competitive to actually race.

Love the setup and it’s pretty much all off the shelf stuff. Nothing really fancy but the combo works just right! That car will hurt a lot of feelings...

What specifically about this setup do you think is leveraged towards making max power? It's a small exhaust housing, 272 cams, and the race, not drag manifold?

I thought it was a girly looking man.......:ohdamn:

All 3 of those. It's still a plenty big exhaust housing.
There has been mention recently that FP had a 10cm2 DSM-flanged housing in the works...wonder if this was a test run? :hmm:
