Just finished removing my 1g clutch pedal assembly. Planning to send out to WhiteShedSpeed @bastarddsm for rebuild with new bronze bushings and welding. It’s not a hard job but definitely unpleasant and not looking forward to reinstall.

Purchased the car recently with a few issues, one of them being an open downpipe that sounded like shit.

Had a Thermal catback with Megan downpipe and test pipe installed this weekend. However for some reason we had to end up modifying the catback(cutting/respositioning/rewelding) to get it to all fit properly. But the car sounds great and just seems a lot better overall with a complete exhaust system now.

I ain't touched my DSM in a while other than taking the wife to dinner in it a few weeks ago before we got snow/salt. The wife is fairly prissy, so since she will still ride in it #9secrealstreetcar. Well im bored so i painted my brake calipers yellow again with some 2k paint

Got my kiggly hla installed along with my new valve coverjust need my real street catch can and she’ll be back on the road

Just rewire to cam/crank sensor setup with kiggly trigger setup
No more cas adjustments

Today ive painted the battery bracket
Was a pretty nice day to do it

Drove her to burger king and then Tim hortons for a lx hot chocolate. .. march got time booked off for new rear hubs and a base line dyno pull.

I've done nothing to this one in a year or so. Stock daily driver. I can drive it anywhere. Its a soft comfortable torquey ride with a good stereo. Put the stock exhaust back on as well

Felt bad after driving it in the snow storm we had last week so got it all waxed up for the first since I’ve owned it! Not bad for 28 years old

Registered it as Historic so I can finally quit dealing with emissions testing.

Looked at pictures of my car today, hoping I get to do something soon as they are both across the country.

Degreed the cams in the race car!

My ECU came in.

Put my baby up on jack stands for the first time. Changed her oil and found her flex pipe is leaking.

Gonna replace a wheel bearing and a alternator belt and planning a dtm muffler

New wheel bearing and painted the underside of the car is 100% rustfree

Took Haruko out for a spin to stretch her legs a bit. Had a few good rainstorms wash all the salt off the roads the past two or so days and wanted to kick off the driving season early.

A little paint work.

Changed j pipe from the 16g so that I can run stock fans. Hoping to change my oil pan this weekend so that my oil pan leak can finally be solved

Just replaced all my valve stem seals with the head on (via "https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/head-on-block-valve-stem-seal-replacement.312891/" article which was perfect) to cure an exhaust smoking problem. Also cleaned the lifters and replaced oil seals.

Pulled out the fuel pump assembly. Charging battery.
Might throw in the 255 I'm not sure yet.



Also always have a lit cigarette when working with fuel lines and wet fuel. Ha ha ha. I'm just a tad lit right now tho
