Can I get an opinion on my timing markings? I have everything torqued and tensioned via vfaq and have a concern regarding the crankshaft position. When my cams are lined up perfectly the crank is off slightly but still within v notch of the plate. Opinions or feedback is greatly desired. Thanks.

Youre overthinking the job. In my opinion you should always line up the crank dead nuts. Everything else is relative to that. Not the other way around.

It’s from changing the distance between crank and cam gears by milling the block/Head, or different gasket. Adjustable cam gears fix this issue.

With stock cams and mild upgrades you won’t have an issue.
