Before anyone says about reading other posts, I have, haven't found similar situation yet
I want to turbo my GS, I am using everything stock (turbo ecu, injectors, smic, turbo gearbox, etc.) and I want to be on the safe side. Going with either t25 or 14b for now. (Goal 220-240 bhp), Some people say I'd be alright as is but Id rather be on a safe side...
To be clear, the car has a 4g63 7 bolt 1999 year, Euro version. I already have the turbo transmission installed, since I am in Europe, I will have to pay the shipping, customs and some other taxes so, if I bought the aftermarket stuff id pay double the price.
This way I can get 100$ evo8 pistons and rods (with new rings) and have my engine rebuilt. I plan on buying an engine gasket kit and the cometic headgasket with arp bolts all around + acl bearings.
My main question is, is it all bolt on (other than resurfacing block and head) or moding/hacking has to be done on certain parts, because I will acquire all the parts and hand it to a shop to do it for me (no knowledge in rebuilding/no time on my part) so if there's something to be done, id have to tell them in advance.
