Anyone else going to the Rolex 24? This will be our 4th year going.

I've been wanting to go to that event for a while now (that and the Sebring 12 hour) but it's cost prohibitive due to me being on the other coast. I would typically go to the Sears Point and Laguna Seca events, but it's been a while. Love the GT racing that's going on right now, with the grids, it's a good time to be a GT and Touring Car racing fan. Prototypes are cool too, but I really enjoy the lower classes.

I'll be driving up from Ft. Lauderdale there with a couple friends. PM me your contact info if you are interested in meeting up for a few beers during the race or something.

Having to buy a plane ticket would drive up the price a good amount. I don't typically spend that much for the weekend. Some of my buds have now moved away and they still fly in every year for it.

Cool. We have tried that in the past, but the weather can make it uncomfortable to camp. The past few years we have gotten a hotel for the night.

It would definitely be a great experience, especially with the duration of the events if one can swing it. Sebring will be a good one this year since it will be combined with a WEC race which happens the day before the IMSA 12 hr. Make sure to post up here if you ever decide to make it down to FL. I have been a regular at both events since moving down here. On a side note, Laguna Seca has been on my list for several years now. I'd like to make it out there some day...

We have dealt with some rain in the past as well. It was pretty cold and miserable that year. The weather is looking pretty decent this year.

Yea last year was pretty bad with the rain setting in on Sunday. Hopefully we have good weather this year. A group of us will be riding down Thursday night. Maybe we can meet up this year.

That c8r is going to be badass, I can't wait to see it.

I'd be down to meet up as well. My group will be heading up there on Saturday morning. Are you staying at the track, or did you get a place somewhere else?
