Looking at your setup, it looks like the weak link is going to be your injectors:

If you limit the duty cycle to 80% (which is recommended by most tuners for injection system durability reasons; I actually disagree with FIC's 90% recommendation), you might see just south of 300whp.

Thanks for the input! The injectors came with a parts car so I threw them on in hopes that they would be enough LOL. I'm going to be hunting for some 1000+cc injectors before too long. That way if I want to upgrade my turbo down the road, I'll have plenty of room to grow!

Post a log, and I'll be able to tell you exactly what to expect.

You can have a mod list a mile long, but if it's accompanied with a garbage tune, I wouldn't expect great results in the quarter mile.

To be quite honest, the car is mid build. So I haven't logged anything. Its going to be tuned by Kenny Kline. He's well known And has been tuning these cars for a long time. His was north of 700hp on pump gas if I remember correctly.

You're probably looking at around 250-300HP with that build on 92 octane. However, 1/4 mile times will vary greatly depending on weight, track, tune, driver mod, etc.

Best case, I'd say probably 13s. Worst case 14s-15s.

No cams with that setup and a good tune you'll probably be between 230-260awhp and 300'ish ft-lbs/tq. trapping around 100mph.

Besides your basic maintenance, don't forget to toss a set of ARP head studs in there or else you risk lifting the head and popping the HG.

Wont know until it's on the dyno and it predets, then back off from there..every turbo ivebowned over 25years has been different..20-25lbsmax

I'd say you won't make much more then 300 to the wheels, you're gonna run out of fuel really quick on 650s with a 20g, I would've maxed them out on my evoIII 16g when I put down 292whp on a mustang dyno.

I really have no idea what you think that proves.. A properly setup 250ishwhp car can run high 12s all day long.. I'm not gonna argue with you about IDC's because it's been beaten to death before.

EDIT: Just read the top of the page. or are you really about to skim over someone else asking almost the same question and it's already been answered by one of the most knowledgeable guys on the site.

Site an example of a 250hp DSM street car running 12s in street trim on video..you took the time to make it seem like this topic was beneath you yet you took the time to reply..so next time post a video of a 250hp street car running 12s....

I'm not going to scour youtube to make a point when the proof is at the top of the page. If you aren't able to figure it out then I'm not gonna hold your hand and neither will anyone else on this forum with any self respect. At this point your just too ignorant to read so I'm done with this debate.

I'm sorry to hear your the product of a divorced family and grew up in an era of uneducated, spoiled, self entitled brats..this is a bench racing forum for fun.
You need a driveshaft loop for that stock up your ass..

Have a nice day CHIEF

Was curious on what you guys think I can make for power on pump gas with my car. Car has built motor with eagle crank and h beam rods. .040 over cp pistons. The head has Bc 0100 springs and titanium retainers and Bc 272 cams. I have a fmic, fp manifold, big e316g, have 550cc injectors for now want to go for 750cc injectors. Also I am going to get a bigger fuel pump. Any ideas on possible power? Wanted around 350 whp.

What do you mean by running the 550s with? The car isn’t running or anything yet. Hoping to put the motor in about 2 weeks. I just wanted to know if it’s possbible to make 350 with what I have

yes, it is possible to make 350 with a real MHI evoIII 16g.

As pointed out above, you will need some sort of fuel management & a wideband reading to tune. ECMlink.....or the like. Something to control the 550 injectors, or 750s, or whatever you go with.

Your injectors are going to be your limiting factor with those mods, also remember that a crank, valve springs, titanium retainers, pistons, rods, arent going to add any power, those things simply add reliability and allow you to make more than stock power.
