I picked up a 95 gsx in a trade I got it with a blown turbo, rebuilt it and started to drive it. I got around 300 miles till it just died on the road. Everytime I start it idles on 2 cylinders for a few seconds then dies. I noticed that the CAS was snipped, could this be my problem? If so why did it on all 4 before?

If your car is a 2g is it maybe a 1g head or a 1g cas in 2g? My 2g has a cas without the pig tail on it to plug the hole I'm guessing or they never finished switching it. This being my first 2g I sat scratching my head on how I just drove for an hour with no cas.

They might have it wired to only use the cas for one of the signals instead of both of them, so they might have the stock cam sensor installed and use the cas for only the crank sensor or vice versa, why they would do that I dont know from here.

Well I noticed that the Mitsubishi dsm's say Mitsubishi on the valve cover. Can I run that CAS or do I need to use the 2g CAS by the intake cam gear? And where is the wiring harness for the CAS?
