My wideband gauge is telling me between 14,8 and 15,6 at idle and someone who know those car told me that wideband was more important then air fuel ratio gauge. I'm not saying he is wrong as he know more and is one of the best at tuning dsm around here. I still feel like there is something wrong as my air fuel gauge at idle goes from lean to rich to lean to rich again and again for ever and if i rev a little it goes lean and goes to rich aa soog as i lift, i made a video of it. There is an idle sound for when lean and one for when rich so even if the wideband is saying everything is ok, i'm still wondering. One last thing, when cold if i try to rev it up with a quick hit tonthe gaz pedal i can ear as if the engine is taking only air and no fuel and 2-3 time it died and had to restat the engine. Sorry if not in the right forum.

That appears to be a narrowband gauge. If that is the case then it is only monitoring the front 02 and is basically useless. However, if it is a narrowband, then it should cycle from lean to rich. It appears to be hanging around on the rich side which means you could have something wrong causing the car to run rich at idle. Could be something as simple as a tune, could be a mechanical issue. You need to get a wideband to properly monitor your air to fuel ratios.

This is all assuming that this is a narrowband sensor in the video, which it appears to be.

Like i said in the first line of my post i do have a wideband and it seem to be ok, staying around 15 and heard it's supose to be there. I was just wondering as the car seem to run a little weird at idle with exhaust sound change as it go lean or rich and with the fact that it died on me twice when cold and that the car have problem starting. The only time it fired right up is when i changed the coil pack and forgot to plug it back. I tryed to start it for about a second and half, 2 time and i remembered i forgot to plug it back. When i did it's the only time it started right up.

WB will bounce around a little at idle as the O2 sensor see's the lean condition and throws fuel to the motor. As soon as it see's that fuel, the sensor reads it rich so the ECU leans it back out in a cycling action. If you can tune, tune the idle to 14.7 at idle. If its an auto car, tune it in gear idling to 14.7 also. Things I do and mine start right up. STFT's should be within 5% of 0 and I like my Combined FT to be there too.
