Well, my build is slowing taking form. I have been doing a lot of behind the scene stuff to get to this point. I'll fill everyone in now who's interested. So, about a year ago i bought a 1990 eagle talon from a guy who said it had spun a rod bearing.
Here i am pulling it hope full of hopes and dreams.

I got what i thought was a pretty good deal on it. Turns out the spun rod spun all the way out of the block leaving a giant whole...

So, that was a kick in the pants. I then was on the journey to find another car with a better engine. Well, i believe i found that in a completely stock 91 GSX that jumped timing.

Here is inside one of the 91's cylinders. The car had 160,000 on it. I didn't think it looked too bad.

My next project was to get the car running again. I was able to source a 2g head and put it on the 91 and got it running. Even drove it around a bit. It was not running well. The car had been sitting for along time and I accidentally put a 1g intake manifold gasket on it... so it had a bit of a vacuum leak... With my hopes back on track I began the process of figuring out what i was going to do. I decided that since the body and interior of the 90 was far and away better than the 91, i would swap everything over to the 90. So, that is where i am at now. I have pulled everything out of the 91, moved it out of the garage. I started prepping the 90's engine bay for some paint (plan on painting it semi gloss black). I just dropped off my engine at a performance machine shop (really glad he knows 4g63s, said he's built a few and one is running 9! don't plan on going that crazy, but good to know it's not his first go at the motor). His name is Jon Wischmann. Really looking forward to having him do the machine work. I'm also sending the transmission of to Jacks for an ultimate syncro build with WPC treated gears. I'm really excited guys. I have been on this forum for a long time just lurking. I have asked a few questions and got some really great help. I am looking forward to having you guys along for the ride. Now, that being said, I am leaving for a few months, but i wanted to get this started and share my journey so far. I'll end with some more pictures, because they are always fun.

I bought an FP 68hta v1 with a FP mainfold from a guy here on the site. I forget his name but his company is RIX Racing.
