Well this last weekend I scored some nice low km 1g's for a nice cheap price. I finally got my clean 1g I've always wanted, scored a rare laser rs awd as well sadly tho she's been wrecked pretty good and not worth repairing. The bonus is both are low km cars, both manual and both awd for 1k its a no brainer. Its been awhile since I've been on tuners but now I've got some new motivation.
Have to decide what im going to do with my old talon now, not worth much more then 1k if i sell and if I can I'd like to make an off road ds

Nice find both cars very worth it

I'll post more pictures of the red talon this weekend, hoping to have the laser stripped, cut up and ready to be hauled in for scrap by end of day sunday. I cant wait to see how the red talon will polish up, red paints not flawless but very close. Need to get the roof repainted tho, its peeling bad.

Well buddy mailed me the full service history for the red talon all the way back from 2002 to 2008 when it was parked....very interesting, even had the for sale ad from the news paper he found it in back in 02.
More pictures coming today

Well little late on my update but the lasers basically gone now, took 15 hours to get it in running driving condition then stripped. Just got an hour or so more of cutting before she's no longer in existence :-(

Lasers fuel pump....ya its minty

Haha thats the one im planning on keeping if it passes my inspection. Ive found one soft spot on the drivers side rocker thus far, but if i decide to fix it up and sell it you'll be my first call ok?
But as it sits the one in my profile picture will be the one i part with when i get the red one the way i want it.

She looks minty af! Never used to like 1ga's but over the years they've grown on me.
This thread needed a presentable car pictured in it any ways haha :thumb:

Good Lord haha, I thought I was being greedy with 3!

I wish I had more space and a bigger shop to work on things. Or I could just sell some of my hoarded car parts and crap haha.

Nice snag man!

Thanks, these ones are a bit rougher and dont have a running engine between them but I'll be selling them off anyways. I got them at a good price so theres money to be made.
I now have 4 3inch turbo back exhaust systems...i only need 2 tho.

I here you im in the process of slimming the parts hoard down, but the parts i do need are making me buy more cars. These 3 i picked up are at a buddies acreage because ive got zero room at my place with the 4 vehicles i have there

I have a couple buddies that do that storage deal with mk2/mk3 supras haha, between the two of them I think they have 15 or so? The one freidnhas a big property with a huge shop and barn, so I'm assuming they have an arrangement haha.

Nice deal tho, at least you can flip some stuff and make out better!

Yeah I was into them for a minute, but they're so dang expensive comparatively. One of them has a mk2 that's freaking mint, making in the middle 600s iirc through an auto and truck 8 inch axle.

This was his wedding cake, his car looks almost exactly identical to this, save the rear tire size and ride height.

Unfortunately I don't have any pics of the car anymore, lost to the old phone God's before Google backed up everything for me haha.

He was running a supers hx40, custom twin scroll manifold on MS3 pro, now is running a bw s376 I believe, don't recall the series. He's in the process of frankensteining a new transmission with ls400 trans parts in the the a340(?) Auto, basically trying to use as many factory parts as he can to get a built trans. That's the kinda guy he is :coy:

They were cheap in my area for years but now ya in the last 5 years they've doubled or tripled in price. I only sold mine off because i had no room to store it. The mk2's days are numbered tho, you cant get virtually any parts for them, and aftermakets almost non existent and finding parts to restore them is not even remotely easy.
Ive actually got some box's of mk2 parts I need to find a good home.....
