Sorry to make a thread about this but i can't seem to find the source of the ticking, the noise is still there with the belts off, timing is all aligned, and the ticking only starts after the car has warmed up and has been running for a little while. Any help at all to resolve this would be much appreciated. I'm including a video of the sound it's clearer once i'm below the car.

You see what I'm talking about though right. There's a washer or something on yours I can see wiggling loosely.

I don't see that bolt wobbling, but the washer isn't perfectly centered, that's for sure. The lower balance shaft pulley eccentric center hub looks like it's moving some, hard to tell. Sounds like a bad pulley somewhere, pull the accessory belt and see if the noise goes away, might be a bad alt pulley. If not that, I'd suspect one of the timing belt pulleys or maybe the balance shaft pulleys. Kinda leaning towards that alt pulley tho.

Well the sound is still there. The bolts were all tight. The sound remains after removing the accesory belts too. The sound doesnt increase with the clutch pushed in either. Sometimes it just completely goes away after a drive.

Did you check to make sure your crank bolt is tight? If everything is tight, it could possibly be a bad pulley. By the looks of it, the timing area has been exposed to the water/elements so could have caused a pulley to go.
