Hey, I bought a parts car for the engine and I was hoping to be able to also put the cruise control on mine since it was removed. The equipment is out of a 1991 GSX and it is going into a 1990 TSI. I'm pretty sure the 90 had the cruise control next to the IC piping and the 91 has it on the fire wall. Is there any reason I cannot make this install?? Any help would be great.

Also, not sure if this was the right forum to place this thread...

Thanks!

The whole cruise control system changed from a mechanical driven one to a vacuum driven one between 90 and 91. When I last looked at the differences many years ago I don't think any part was shared between the two.

Nooo! That's what I was afraid of.

Have you ever heard of anyone doing a complete swap? You would probably need the computer, wouldn't you.
