Well I was wrong. I don't have the high pressure 450. Not sure how big a difference that makes but I'm sure it makes a difference.
But my pump is definitely wired with 10 guage wire.

Don't quote me on this but I searched around for some comparisons and found it could be up to a 13% difference at your boost levels. I would check for yourself though as I searched around pretty quickly.

So I decided to order the new wally 525 to see how it does. Should probably be able to install it next weekend and test it out.

Good decision. Make sure to update the thread so we can all see how the install goes.

OP: Check out my thread on installing a 450.
If you’re having a lean condition at WOT, it’s more than likely due to the seals not holding.
The fix is putting a bulkhead fitting on the pump housing eliminating the issue.
I would also recommend installing a fuel pressure sensor to verify your fuel pressure.
Look over this thread if you have any questions:

So I went ahead and put the new wally 525 in with a -6 bulkhead. Some people are telling me that I should go with a -8 line but I'm going to test it out with the -6 for now because I already had it installed.
The 525 and the 450 seem to be identical or pretty close inside so the install is the same for a 450 or a 525. I just did one quick 2nd gear pull so I really don't know how much better it will perform. I plan on hitting the track next weekend for some testing so that's when I'll know for sure.

That’s weird because I made 630hp to the wheels on a single walbro 450 and that was being conservative

So originally with the stock line I made 550hp. Then I upgraded the feed line to a 6an. But still on the stock return line.

This Dyno graph is with the stock fuel feed line

6an should be good to around 6-750hp range. i only ran 8an on mine because we had a sale on the 8an e85 vibrant line at work.
