You are a life saver. I tried to download it on the website and phone is acting up. If I have any more questions will post here. thank you

Is the red and yellow wire go together and to what pin. A bit confused

Ok so two black to ground. The two pink ones to number 87. That leaves the yellow and red wire.

I never actually ended up installing mine......and with the single pumps available now in 2018, Im not sure that I ever will. Great looking piece though. I think back in 2011/2012, these made sense, but now, Im not so sure unless its for huge power.

I remember that diagram was enough for me to get it figured out and to plan the install. There is the set of wires for the pumps......which is the simple part, then the set of wires for the fuel level stuff.......

Info was not exactly easy to come by.........but the diagram and a bit of research should get you by

Ok so do I need to add a relay to my hanger before i wire it or just cut old plug off.

I'm needing some help on the wiring part if anyone will help. It says to use a relay in diagram EVLGSX posted but I'm a bit confused. Anyone that has done this please help out. Thanks

Do you plan to run the pumps as both always on or one with the hobbs switch?

Yes, you have to have a relay. Fuel pumps draw a lot of amperage that can only be carried by larger wires. Look up fuel pump re wire to get an idea. Once you have a fused upgraded power wire to the back of the car, follow the below steps.

Without Hobbs switch as follows

Pin 86 is ran to a chassis ground
Pin 85 is spliced into the stock harness for the signal wire
Pin 87 is power from the relay to the hanger/pumps (2 red/pink wires in your picture)
Pin 30 is you upgraded fused power wire that you should have ran from the battery. What size wire depends on the length of the run and the amp draw of the pumps that you will be running. Amp charts for pumps and wire based off length are easily googled.

The black wires from the hanger are ran to the same chassis ground as the relays in the diagram

The two leftover wires run the fuel float so that your fuel gauge works.

You need to use a multimeter to test each wire to see where its going on the other side of the hanger. As for what pin for the fuel float, look up the pinout for that plug in your car and you will have your answer.

With a hobbs you just run one of the grounds from Pin 86 through the hobbs switch.

I'm going to run them both. And what is the purpose of running the Hobbs switch? So is there a certain type of relay I need. Looking now. Thank you for all the help. Also were should I mount this?

A hobbs switch is set to turn on at a certain PSI. This would allow you to run one pump below said PSI and then the second pump would kick on after the threshold for the hobbs was reached.

You really need to read about fuel pump rewires. A simple and effective search and some reading will do you wonders. Here is a link to a video. Scroll down to post 47.

You never say what pumps you are using?

Assuming Walbro 255’s (CLICK HERE) They draw 10 amps at 70psi (40psi base pressure and 30psi boost). With two pumps, that would be 20 amps. If we assume you run a wire from the battery like you are suppose to and hide it along the way that would be about 15 feet. Since you are drawing 20 amps at 70psi you should size the wire for at least 25 amps. CLICK HERE to see a chart that shows you should be using 8AWG for this.

A lot of the kits you will find do not pertain to your situation. You are running two pumps that will draw twice the amps most kits are intended for. Sure, you could go by a 30 amp fuse and piece together the rest of what you need but that is up to you. If your profile is up to date, you will need a lot more than just a relay.

I'm using the fullblowen 340s. I have my battery reloacated to trunk. It will be a short run of wire.

You will need to look up the amp draw for your pumps and then use the provided guide in the post above to see what wire you should use. For the rest of it, just follow any of the many rewire threads and you will be fine.

Has anyone ever used DeatschWerks Fuel Pump Hardwire Kit. I bought to use on car as relay. I got a bit confused on diagram. I'm running a fullblowen double. Thanks.

I got a DeatschWerks Fuel Pump Hardwire Kit and I was wondering if anyone has used it on there fullblowen install. I need some help with the rewire. I'm confused on what wires go to where. Thank you

It is explained in this post, what part are you having problems with?

I did my rewire from pulling diagrams from here and reading for 1 hour, and i hate wiring so you can do it if you just spend a bit of time to read it over and self figure it out. Getting everyone to walk you through this wont help your brain figure it out easier. It will help but ultimately you need to teach your brain to figure it out from pictures and diagrams to understanding the wires,

Dont take this like im being a dick as im not but you wont learn and your brain wont grow or you will get it wrong if you dont study it well for yourself. If it takes you a few days to wrap your head around it then thats how long it takes but selr learning makes you a better person and you then know more and can help others in the future then always ask for things.

We have sooo many threads on this alone and its not just here its on google aswel as videos on wiring and relays.

The amount of times you posted the same stuff asking for help you could have been reading and figured it out already and have the new rewire done and dusted and another skill learned and checked off your list.

No hobbs switch. I need to figure out what is ground and power on stock harness. Also I need to kno what is my float wire color.

I just dont want to hook it up wrong. That's it. And I know that you aren't being a dick. Just want to do it right way first time. I dont have the battery hooked up so dont know what battery power or ground is. Thanks

ok I rewired the pump it is not kicking on at all. I ran a straight power wire to them and nothing still. I will take some pictures of how its ran. the relay is clicking but not making a connection inside.
