I swapped out my stock motor to a high compression built long block. New motor has 276 kelford cams, wiseco pistons, eagle rods and crank. I have a 255 walbro fuel pump, stock injectors, ngk spark plugs, stock ecu. I have not been able to get the car to run, motor turns but the car wont start. Battery is good, fuel pump is turning on and everything I can possibly think of seems fine. Any suggestions or tips can help

I'm not sure i just messaged the guy that i bought the head from, but what difference do they have? they seem identical, i had got the 1995 cam sensor because that is the year of my car.

Yes i checked for spark, i have fuel and my fuel pump runs when i turn the key but then car turns off after a few seconds since its not getting any spark, i grounded it to metal to watch it if there was spark while i cranked the car

Is there a spark wiring diagram for the 1995? The guy said its a 1997-1999 engine, and i have the 1995 ecu because thats the motor it had before i put this built motor in.

Is your cam sensor behind the intake cam gear or is it on the opposite side above the tranny/flywheel inline with the intake cam?

So i put my old spark plug wires back in and tried cranking it but still doesnt start. I noticed that when my engine turns it sounds like loud compression or just loud knocking, is it supposed to do that? i know i have big cams but im wondering if its a bad thing to hear these noises? it sounds kind of like there are fumes popping inside my engine
