Hey guys so when i originally bought this car it came with some shit ebay slim fans, well my mani to turbo gasket blew and melted the left fan so im just gonna go to stock fans now, when reverting back to stock fans do i need to worry about anything not being plug and play?

You can keep a slim fan, you don't have to put both factory fans in. You can even run just one fan.
If you have room, I would stick with both oem fans. Oem fans flow really well and they are hard to beat.

yeah i plan to switch over to both, just asking incase i come across one person only having one, also i read that the driver side fan is like for A/C and the right is used for cooling is that correct?

That's basically the gist of it. I think the driver fan will come on at a certain temp (AC off) but I haven't had a driver fan in a while so I am going off of memory which can be questionable at times...

kk i gotcha, cause the fan that was melted was my driver side, im only on a 16G turbo at 17lbs atm

I melted a slim fan before i heat wrapped my header, down pipe, and put a turbo blanket on.

Now I run a the stock radiator fan ( I chopped it to hell and back to get it to fit) and a cheap ebay fan, both setup as pullers, my car stays cool and fans don't melt.

yeah, this winter i plan on going FP red tho, any insight on stock fans fitting that build by chance?
You should be able to run at least the passenger oem fan. I have a bolt on hx35 and the oem fan fits on passenger side. I have never seen or messed with a FP red but it has to take up less real estate than the bulky hx35. I am ordering a Spal slim fan soon. I'm running a bit hot on 100+ degree days.

I just removed my stock radiator with both fans if anyone needs them i also have a brand new fluidyne i paid 200 for that will not work with my topmount setup 7073675913
