So I had a 1998 GST back when i was still in college. The owner didn't tell m how badly the bearings had worn, and on my way home, the car overheated and the motor popped.

I ended up getting a forged 6 bolt/2g head combo from a guy in Columbus for a great price and threw it in with a real Evo 3 16G i got off of a guy who needed money, and drove it around for a while before selling it because I needed a truck to move around with.

Fast forward, sold the truck, got a nice commuter car, I've graduated college, moved to California, got a truck again and traveled a lot for fun, started Grad school with the Army and moved to Texas, now in North Carolina and i got back into the DSM game again with a 1999 GSX. I just couldn't move past how good looking the body style is.

That's my lifted F150 in the background with custom lights

Big thing right now is trying to get the Idle right. I've been adjusting my TB, fuel, timing with the help of a few guys online but still having a hard time since I'm so new to ecmlink.

I also found a small leak at the oil return at the pan... as always..

but after that's all dialed in, I'd like to get a dyno tune and work on getting a stronger clutch in, and suspension and brakes. Making it a fun mountain run car. Not so much into drag racing as I am into road racing.

Thanks and any tips are appreciated

First thank you for your service.
I am also building a road course car its a 1992 laser. I find it difficult to find parts at a decent price. I have also found it difficult to get information on how to keep it cool for the 9-hour stents that we run.
