OEM black floormats and the OEM leather shift-knob would complete that gorgeous interior! :D Also new brake/clutch pedal pads! Haha! That's just my OCD kicking in. The car is looking great man! Keep up the good work.

Completely agree on the floormats! But they didn't make "black" they only have "dark grey" since the carpets were only tan/grey from the factory.. unless I am missing something! And also completely agree on the shift nob! I like the way you roll!

As far as the new pedal pads you are nuts! LOL I could try and clean these up, i'm sure I could get them as good as new!

Thanks for the ideas!

Any ideas on where you can get a set of OEM floor mats? Is it even worth the cost?

Extreme PSI has them in stock. $90 I definitely think it is worth the cost, my aftermarket ones did not have the hole for the little clip, so its all ripped up right there from me cutting it. So yeah, I'll definitely be getting them.

Yea... To bad light gray mats have been discontinued and are out of stock :(. I don't know how the dark gray mats would look in a light gray interior... For $90 it might be worth it though..

I don't have the patience to wait 4-6 weeks for international shipping from Brazil..

I got a couple things in the mail, and ordered one more huge piece to the puzzle..

I got a ton of new Mishimoto t-bolt clamps, and -4AN - M10x1mm brake caliper adapters to run my SS lines.

I went ahead and bit the bullet on buying a brand new Red TiAL MVR 44mm WG...

I was tired of searching the forums/fb pages/ebay/craigslist for used ones, and could only find odd colors for not that much less than a new one. So I got the red one from Extreme PSI. Pumped to get it on so I can take the car to get the custom downpipe welded up!

Peace

Did a couple things yesterday.

I wanted to wrap up my coolant overflow tank and get that all mocked up so I can polish it and then install it for good.

For anyone wondering, its a gamble overflow. I had him use the same vibrant cap on my valve cover so it would match, instead of the cap he uses.

I also had him not install the bracket, and had my own welded on that mounts it on the lower end of the frame rail, instead of the top. Works great.

Next up was the TB IC pipe, I had to hack off the flange to fit the coupler on.

So that wraps up the IC piping, coolant overflow.

Next up was fluids! I did this veryyy slowly to make sure I wasn't leaking. I've dumped $80 worth of ATF in a car only to realise the axle wasn't in... Wont make that mistake again. But no leaks! Oil/tranny/xfer case/rear diff oil changed.

I'm going to get some vac lines and coolant hose to run to the overflow can, and then install my fuel rail and see if we can't get this thing turned over.

Peace!

I started the car up this weekend! Started right up after being torn apart for three years. Found that my oil feed to turbo was cracked at the fitting so going to throw a new on on there. Then its off to get my downpipe fabbed up! I was just on open turbo so no o2 sensors etc or wideband.

Peace!

Sup,

so I fixed my oil feed leak, and then started the car up again, no leaks!

I'm waiting on getting my downpipe fabbed up until next week, wastegate should be here this week. I need to install/paint all of my brake calipers and bleed the lines. Then work on getting this thing tuned!

The bay is pretty much finished. This is how it will look, minus the catch can setup. But the catch can setup can wait a bit. I don't get any blow-by anyway.

I'm pumped to get this thing on the road again, found out my car insurance will be basically nothing on top of my jeep insurance, so that was a relief.

Peace!

I've been thinking of doing this to clean the bay up. Did you do it yourself and how hard was it?

Yeah I did it, took about an hour and a half. Very easy. I don't know if I used enough grease though, I didn't fill the entire thing, that would have been like three tubs of grease, I just removed all the seals/plugged the holes. seems a small amount better while the car is stationary, cant wait to see how it feels on the road.

Keep me updated sir!

report back to us! I been wanting to drop the OEM PWS setup for a while now.

I think it was SIM that had a really cool setup, GT3 RS res/pump that was setup on the sub frame.

Yeah they did a bang up job thats for sure! I don't really care too much, I don't race it or anything, just cruise around. I could always do an e-pump setup in the future, just dont care right now. I'll definitely report back on the feeling of the manual rack

I just started on the wiring. I have to say whoever designed the harness is an idiot. Plugs on the divers side ground to the passenger and vise versa. Wires that loop back on themselves but the loops are twenty feet long. This is going to take awhile.

Dude.. I know... unbelievable. Some wires wrap back and fourth multiple times from passenger/driver and back.. I will say I wasn't comfortable with how many grounds merged into one tiny ground wire, I added a couple grounds with a little be larger size wire in multiple spots.

I want those 2g euro folding mirrors. Don't remember you mentioning them, find them on eBay? I've been looking forever and can't find them

I got them on Ebay! Yes I love them, I haven't seen another pair in person yet.
