Does anyone have the instructions for installing a kiggly main girdle on a 6 bolt?
tried a search nothing came up
thanks,
-Will

Here's what I found.

-minimal grinding of the casting required for clearance
-ARP studs mandatory
-Oil pickup mount clearance might be a problem
-Align hone recommended

yeah thats fine, my question is i have the studs, ETC. and will be bringing it to the machine shop to get loctite and installed. what spec do i give them for the studs. for example ive heard backed the studs out between 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn where all the studs are even. and also heard each stud backed out 15mm past the girdle.
anyone know?

Have you inquired with Kiggly? He will tell you straight up. He did say to another member that on the oil pickup, the stud could be backed out. Personally, I want my Main studs bottomed out and I cut off the reinforcement leg of the pickup tube and don't use it at all.
