So I've finally gotten her awake after a long slumber, and she won't idle. So little back story I bought the car it ran but hard idle, drove her home and found 2 cylinders no compression. So I sent her out to a machine shop had it all rebuilt and redone, got the engine in and still has a bad idle or none. It has 780cc injectors, no egr, walbro in the tank. wideband installed only missing the sensor at the moment so that doesn't count. Heres the data log from ecmlink. I've tried adjusting the throttle plate and it idles but then when warm its wayyyyyyy to high. no iac, i've gotten the iac thing from on the fire wall to simulate it. The thorttle body im not sure about don't know if its stock or not.

Plenty of slack in the throttle cable?

It's a non cruise cable now. It is very sensitive to the touch. I'll put that down to check tomorrow

Are the coolant lines to the throttle body still connected?
No coolant lines to the throttle body or below it. Like the stock had. What I meant to say was I don't know if the previous owner modded a stock throttle body somehow. Taking out the top vacuum line ports and just welding it shut. The bottom of the body has a plate covering where the coolant lines would have gone.

Get a bypass plate and iac my talon is blocked off and I hate it... causes so many idle issues at lights if the heat and headlights are on it idles low but normaly at 1k. I highly advise if it's a daily do the bypass.

I have the iac relocation thing. I can't remember where I bought it from. It only idles high when it finally warms up before that it struggles to idle if any. Usually it just dies as soon as it starts. I'll try to take a picture of it today and post it. I even tried to simulate it with dsmlink to get it to idle it just won't .

Your O2 isn't cycling and it's set to narrowband sim. In your OP you state that you don't have the sensor??? What sensor is on you O2 housing?
At the moment it's the oem o2 sensor. I have the wideband sensor in the box putting it in today. Running a new log as well. Going to redo my throttle, and tps again and start at 0

Here are some pics of the throttle body and plate

When I checked your log, your deadtime was at 0. Go to links wiki page and it’ll give you a starting point for deadtime. Also think you had wideband as front O2.
I haven't taken her for a cruise so I thought I couldn't do a deadline adjustment yet without it idling at all too. The wideband is set up at my front o2 I just haven't out the sensor in yet and left it stock. Did so tonight will do a new log with it soon. And re did some vacuum lines to make sure no leaks on them.

On the intake manifold that sensor at the top is loose? that's an insane boost leak. I mean I can see from that picture its loose! That needs to be addressed. I would also see what is going on with 02 and how that's working. If you are running a narrow band sim you need to have a working 02 in there.

Also if that is loose is anything else loose? Boost leak test?

Before making any adjustments you have to make sure everything is in order.
BLT/make sure you have no exhaust leak before wideband
check timing
adjust tps & biss
Throttle cable is properly adjusted

It has been a while for me so I forget if there's anything else.

Good catch I didn't even notice it didn t look loose from when I was looking at it. But it sure was. Did a leak test last night no leaks holds pressure. Will loosen up the throttle cable it was like that before didn t even second guess it .the uego sensor is in the front o2 sensor spot now so the new log will have what you all need the voltage could have been low cause I was sitting there for quiet awhile trying to log things and checking wire connections. I'll mess with deadtime then i had thought it was after cursing my fault. Let's see if all these little fixes will Improve it so it can idle. Without dying everytime.

This is something else you might double check when was fuel filter last replaced? If you passed a boost leak test that's great man my buddy was leaking out of the biss screw of all random things.
Sorry for the slow response. The weather has been crappy around here. Any who, fuel filter is brand new. Did some digging and apprently my throttle body doenst have a biss screw anywhere. Only screw is the one that adjusts the butterfly valve to stay open or shut.
