Didnt think about that but he is correct. Resistor would only matter during full pressure mode.If the resistor was your issue, then you should still be able to drive the car like normal when the switch is flipped to connect the TCU to the Trans. In that mode, the resistor has nothing to do with the equation.
I hope I am wrong, but if you can't get the trans to act right when the switch is flipped to stock mode, then your problem is not the resistor you are using. It lies elsewhere.

Maybe he ordered his resistor from China......
