Just put on a new fmic today a buddy hooked me up with. Anyways, I have it mocked up but the piping is a whole other issue. I want to keep my fog lights , any suggestions on what pipes or kits I guess to make this work? Previous owner hacked old fmic up and obviously loved zip ties. Any info is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

If you want your fog lights, don't get the VRSF FMIC. It's a great kit, but uses the fog light mount holes since it's a short route setup. I had one and that was the only reason I sold it.

Assuming u wanna keep it just get a generic diy pipe kit off eBay. I was able to fit my fmic with no cutting of the crash bar, bumper, or even cutting a pipe, and even though I took my fogs out they'd definitely fit. The brand I used on my 96 Tsi was "RDT motoring" and is surprisingly decent quality. They also include good 4ply silicone couplers and t clamps. You can barely see it in my photo gallery. Fortunately I already had a Greddy hard upper pipe for the stock smic so that area was already configured. I have autos, so I kinda have to do the long route.

I have my lower inncooler piping from my ETS kit for sale it allowed me to keep my fog lights. I used it when I ran my 16g. Went with a custom lower pipe when I switched to a new setup. DM if your interested I’m not looking to make much of it. 2.5” that tapers up to meet with a j-pipe for a t-25, 14b or 16g.

The godspeed FMIC kit keeps the factory 2gb fogs. I've bought it but haven't got around to installing it.

Holy long piping route Batman!

Punishment Racing FMIC kit is much shorter routing, fits with only modifying the crash bar, keeps the fogs, and seems to be a decent quality.
