Hello everyone,

I currently have a 7 bolt engine at the machine shop and wanted some input on the reality of my HP goal: I am aiming for 500-600

Arias Forged Pistons .020 over 8.5:1 100mm
Eagle H Beam rods 100mm
Manley forged 100mm stroker crank
Cometic 85.5 head gasket
ACL Race rod and main bearings
Ported 7 bolt head BC springs and retainers
BC 280 camshafts
Weapon R intake manifold
Curt Brown 65mm ported throtte body
FP manifold
Magnus fuel rail
Injector Clinic injectors
Walbro 255 fuel pump
SBR 50 turbo
stock blow off valve no wastegate

That's what i currently have please advise if I need something else.

I would say you can ditch the throttle body and invest in a BOV. The 60mm 1G TB can support your goals and is far cheaper to buy/rebuild. The 2g BOV will leak after you begin to get past stock boost levels.

You won't be hitting 500 hp on the SBR 50 trim.

272 cams will be more friendly and still support 500+hp. Is this a strictly drag car or street/strip build?

No Need for the Magnus fuel rail.

No need to throw money at parts you don't need. I recommend you read up on similar builds to get an idea of what you need to achieve that power and the power band you are wanting as well.

So a tial blow off valve or HKS work?

What turbo would u recommend for my goals?
I want it for street and strip use.

I will ditch the sbr 50

NO wastegate? Do you know what that means?!
Anyway, go HX40, a 340lph fuel pump, and an Evo intake.
Injectors better be 1200cc if you're on pump gas, 1600+ on E85.
Valve springs should be duals for the boost pressure it would take to run 500-600hp.
You could probably do better than the BC 280s, too - GSC S2s are a winner.

It stabilizes boost pressure.
I will look into a hx40. Yeah they are dual valve spring. I bought it of a dsmtuner that was pushing 800hp.
So evo intake is better

No, the wastegate LIMITS boost pressure. Without one you'll be making 40+ psi all the time at WOT and things will go boom.

It doesn't matter too much, but I prefer manifold. Depends on what turbo you use, if you want it recirculated, etc. For Holset turbos, it depends on the style of turbine housing you use.

Pick your bov based on what you like as long as it's a reputable brand. There are turbos with an internal wg and bov. I would recommend a EFR turbo. They're better for a lot of reasons. Read the training material on their site if you care.

Thanks a lot bro will look into the training material

--UPDATE--

I invested on a MAP 02 dump with a tial wastegate. Next on the list is either a Precision 6266 turbo or FP Black turbo. The only thing holding me back from the precision turbo is I don't know what Turbine housing to choose. Any suggestions?
