the orange wire is correct for the baro signal

im not really sure about the 5V. maybe you could use something like THIS

I confirmed via multi meter that i am in fact getting 5volts from both locations..

ok.. so even though i have 5v source from from AIT
Its doesnt do anything for the pressure sensor

But when i disconnect my SD and use the 5V from the SD plug my fuel pressure sensor logs correctly : Regardless of how i ground, via chassis or ECU.

I of course cant start the car but i activate the fuel pump in link and measure

Why is that?

idk the exact model
i bought it a few semester ago and just now installed
But same type as any other auto-meter Honeywell Aem pressure sensor.

SO TO CLOSE>!
car does in fact log using only the 5v from the sd setup which is wired in place of the MDP

And taping the 5V source from maft/ AIT sensor wont work!!

ANY GROUND WORKS!

This is great for me since my fuel-lab gauge broke on install yrs ago
And other random dial gauges were showing 60psi base...
And now thru link its confirmed this whole time it was 60psi

Fuel lab gauged showed 40psi..........

This is for the future so when people google: "how to log fuel pressure..."
They will actually find an answer!!

PS no messing with the ECU de-soldering r39

I'm confused, you did get it to work? I was going to say that some of these cheap chinabay sensors have been known to be faulty right out of the box.

I’m confused as well. I think he just tapped the SD wiring from the ECMLink adapter harness for the 5v wire?

The 2nd link I posted shows ECU PIN 81 as the sensor voltage. The sensors eventually tie back to that wire/pin.

#1 .My MAP sensor is wired into the old MDP location.
#2 My ait is wired throught the MAFT
#3 Fuel sensor is 5v comes from MAP
Ground from chasis and signal throught MAFT baro wire.

I do not have any plug and play harness.
I clearly stated that the 5v from the maft side WILL NOT work!.

But but but........
Are they same feed?
I thought so too, but for what ever reason it works only from the 5v source from the MDP wire.

Im sure one of our many electrical engineering members has an idea.
Electrical is not my displine.
Dont care why, it is what it is.
