I'm trying to use my Insignia windows tablet so I can drive around and monitor ECMLink, similar to this guy:
However when I plug everything up and go to connect I keep getting "port refused to accept required bitrate"

I’ve downloaded all the ecmlink drivers.

i had the same problem and it defines it on a thread on here but i cant find it again. i belive it has to do with the drivers and assigning the port

what windows are u running?

I’m not a computer guy. I’d check to make sure the version you have on your previous device matches the tablet. Then check and make sure configure connections are correct. I just got a tablet also and it’s kind of a pain to tune with. Think it would be great once you have a good tune.

It’s a bare device so it will not have setting that aren’t saved on ecu side

Which firmware is your ecm link? I would uninstall and reinstall the ecmlink driver. I can send you a link if you need

I’ll reinstall again and here’s a screenshot

Update:

I performed a factory reset on the Windows 8.1 Insignia Tablet.

I tried to install the ECMLink drivers from the website and I keep getting this error that says "The requested operation requires elevation." Not really sure what that means, I am the admin of the tablet.
