420A Please help Radiator/trans cooler leaking)

Please somebody help... over stressed with this thing right now. 1999 rs, replaced radiator and now it's spilling trans fluid from one of the hoses. Can't find anything online that shows what i need. There is two hard lines mounted to back of radiator fan... question is what are these two lines cause it's leaking trans after a tip of one of em broke off in rubber hose
 
In an automatic car, a small portion of the radiator functions as a transmission cooler.

The two lines run both to, and from, the transmission, carrying cooled trans fluid.

Those lines are replaceable. They are easily susceptible to corrosion. Hopefully, you didn’t break off the fitting on the radiator, maybe just twisted and split the metal neck of the trans cooler hoses.

Those hoses are avaialable from various parts stores and online sources. Don’t drive the car until these are replaced or you will fry your trans.
 
It is a automatic. The damn thing is so rusted out that I tried undoing one of the clamps to one of the hard lines and it broke the tip off inside the rubber hose. I can't find anything online to see which line is what and it literally starts spilling out of where the metal meats rubber.i tried clamping it higher on the hard line and it didn't help.
 
I can't even find a picture online showing these two hard lines mounted to the back of the radiator fan. I literally started freaking out thinking I hooked these lines up wrong and didn't know what either of them was.. appreciate the fast responses though. Crazy how there is nothing online about these two lines. Nobody seems to have them to purchase them cause I orig planned on doing it first when I seen how bad they are.
 
The car was a lemon when I bought it and needs junked but having three kids to take care of etc makes having money for something else impossible. I love my car and hate it at the same time LOL
 
The radiator is brand new though, it's good, it broke off when removing the old. And it's literally only a inch maybe missing which is why I didn't think it would leak. Maybe the hose is not on far enough it got too cold to keep trying and I been out there off and on all

So basically you just need a new fitting for the radiator to you can hook the cooler lines back up. If you have enough rubber line left you can slice it like you said and just get a new fitting.

I'm not at all familiar with the 420a motor or radiator but from your description, it seems like the best option.
 
If there is two, and both are trans lines, would it mess something up if they ain't hooked up right. Like switched... I'm sure I hooked them up right but now I'm scared to death

Just nervous now cause I seriously didn't think that little inch or so would cause it to leak like that... hope it's not cause I have them switched wrong. Like return to send give Versa
 
Maybe you guys will know this also, the ac condenser was beyond repair...split in half and fins like a accordion etc.. I removed it cause it was so damaged that I didn't want it poking the new radiator. The two lines hooked up to it at the. Bottom left hand side of engine bay? I'm assuming one carries refrig and the other? The ac hasnt worked since I bought it I'm assuming cause of the condition of the condenser I'm just afraid since it's no longer there something important will be spilling out of the two lines that use to go to it.

If you removed your condenser, then don't worry about the two lines. If you ever plan on running your ac again, I would cap off the lines to avoid contaminants from getting in the lines. Both lines carry refrigerant (r134a) but the whole system will evaporate all of the r134a very quickly. If you removed your condenser and nothing spayed out, then the system very likely already had a leak.
 
The order of the trans line connections to the radiator don’t particularly matter. Fluid in. Fluid out. Sometimes the fitting sizes, or length of the trans lines will answer that question for you.

As for the AC condenser lines, that fluid is the freon, which carries oil to lubricate the AC compressor. If the freon level is low — or in your case, gone — running the engine and engaging the compressor (when you turn th AC “On”) will run it without enough oil, and probably damage the internal components. Fortunately, these compressors are available at parts yards. When you replace the condenser, replace the compressor, if it was run dry, and charge the freon.

Hello, this is kind of embarrassing but has anyone ever used manzo lowering springs on their Eclipse. Money is not my friend lately but I took the cheap route and went with these and "free shocks" that were left in the trunk of a car like mine in besslers pull and save. They were brand new sealed in a box LOL. Anyhow, is there a way to tell which spring is front and which is back.. I feel like a moron now but the spring I thought was for the front (short fat) matches the spring I took off the rear. Would the taller springs be for the front or rear. I installed the taller in back and pray to god it will settle cause they don't look any lower then I had. Thanks ahead

Usually it’s easy to tell which springs go where comparing them to your stock ones as you pull them off. Make sure the springs are actually made for your car just in case, just double check that if you can. If they were new in box there should be a part number you can reference online.
 
Unfortunately they are cheap lowering springs that came in a box with now paper work or anything. It's weird cause I figured the tall would go in the back considering the height difference going from wheel all the way up to the truck tower and those springs match the aftermarket ones... literally same length. The short aftermarket are stiffer and shorter then what looks to be on front currently. The only marking on the springs
Them self is their "M" logo and there is no one online talking about them

Usually it’s easy to tell which springs go where comparing them to your stock ones as you pull them off. Make sure the springs are actually made for your car just in case, just double check that if you can. If they were new in box there should be a part number you can reference online.
I got the back done instead since the fronts are giving me a hard time getting unbolted etc. the ride height has dropped from monster to truck to almost perfect in the back. I went from 3 finger gap to about 1 1/2 or less
 
I really hate this keyboard and auto correct LOL trunk tower and no paper work is what I meant. They are manzo lowering springs on stagg shocks that I got for free basically. I liked the way it felt when I moved the care briefly tho. The shocks were nib in a trunk of a besslers pull and save car LOL
