When will the 4-point mustache be available?
I'm tweaking the jig/fit right now. I just built a mustache bar this weekend that I need to test fit. My fitting car is an hour's drive away... But I'll get it tested this week. Providing I like everything about it, I'll knock out 4 or 5 right away and get them to the powdercoater. So, 2-3 weeks.

Sounds good! I’ll keep an eye out.

Hey guys, I have a 2 pairs of 1G rear lower arms with spherical sway bar hook-ups welded up and going to the powdercoater on Friday. Pending mocked up on a local 1G to verify fitment, I'll be looking for 2 guys who is interested at buying these at a heavy discount and testing them for me. I need someone who can install them right away and put some miles on them right away. PM me if you're interested!

Hey, it's never too late to dive back into a 1g, Chris. :)

I should have been working on this stuff years ago, but the timing was never right for me until recently. Better late than never. :)

The plan is for a 1Gb or a GVR4... but don't have any time for the project right now. We'll see if you're still doing these when I'm on my next project.

Any updates on the rear subframes?
I started on it. But I need to verify pinion angle in the jig before I go any further. I recently bought a 1G shell to (among other things) check this. But the car is in the driveway and it's still 29*F here in MI. So I'm just waiting for it to warm up a bit before I get going on it again. Which is OK, because it gives me time to catch up on the 7 2G rear subframes that I need to get done. :)

Just curious if you have any plans/thoughts to produce and sell a quick release bumper support for 1G’s? Gixerman made something in the past with quarter turn fittings but it doesn’t seem like those are in production anymore :( JMF makes a solid piece that requires fasteners and takes some time to remove and install the bumper. It’s a small item compared to the massive projects you are currently producing and I’m unsure of how many would be interested buy I thought it was worth asking.

i made my own for the sides of the bumper using quiklatches. its a simple little bracket i riveted to the fenders. im trying to come up with something to do for the center of the bumper so that you only have the quiklatch holding the bumper on.

While its nice to have an option on Facebook available, that kit only includes mounting points to secure the bumper in the two back corners. It does nothing to support the bumper in the front and prevent it from sagging. A quick release bumper would require 4 mounting points (the two on the rear corners and two off of where the crash bar would go) to properly secure the bumper and actually be a functional quick release.

Not knocking that kit, its just not what I am looking for.
