Here's a link to the source of this Reddit Comment. Help the DSM platform (and possibly guest-star on YouTube) by getting ahold of him via Reddit, Facebook, or Email. (He doesn't respond to YouTube comments, be warned)

His requirements: A clean, unmodified DSM.

Thanks all, and have a great day!

I'm super excited about this. Any guesses on what strange quirks and features he will find? And maybe this will cause the value of dsms to go up, since everyone wants to be like Doug?

I have a 92 with 27k, the only "mod" is FEAL Coilovers and a Boostgauge/Double DIM would that be considered bone stock enough?

The rest is like it came off of the showroom floor, including all of the the door stickers and hood foil..

Well, try contacting Doug and ask him that. Shocks are always getting replaced I suppose so technically that doesn't count.

If you watch any of his videos, his email is always in the video towards the end! Would love to see a clean 1g get some love... I think yours would be stock enough. If you email him, keep us posted!!

Damn it man. I would love to have him test drive my Bone stock 94 Laser RS. But he is in Philly and Im in Central California. Does he travel to do car reviews? Haha.

He absolutely travels to review cars. He's posted a few videos that were filmed out in California.

I have put together an email to inquire on his interest. From what I see on his channel he has not yet found one to review. My Laser is pretty damned fresh so we will see if it piques his interest.

1994 Plymouth Laser RS. Bone stock beauty! by Beau Anderson, on Flickr

My 59k mile 1G Bone Stock Talon rides like what I imagined it to from the factory. I love taking it for a spin around town, it's like going in a time capsule.

Starts right up, idles perfectly, has A/C and heat, stock radio, 7 year/70k warranty stickers still there, stock rims, even has the little yellow pieces under the spark plug cap, pop up headlights work perfectly, windows roll up and down, and best of all.....no headliner sag.

Sorry Doug, this one took me a long time to find. It's mine!

Man, I just got the title in the mail and it made me realize how bad my short term memory is. The damn car is a 92 RS. Haha

He's not looking to buy, merely come and spend a day with!

Now that he has driven a stock one, I think he should get into something with a bigger turbo and a proper suspension.
The only thing that really bothered me in this video was how he couldn't figure out how the flash-to-pass lights work.

I just watched that video hes a tool, especially when he was trying to explain the high beams. Every one of his videos he has to tare into something thats just stupid like the red around the buttons or the cloth inserts in the doors.

Yes, AND!
Did you see the smile on his face the entire time he was driving it? You'd never know by the grades he gave it. And yes, we all know it's not a Porsche or a Benz, but these cars are fun to drive with just 15lb of boost and upgraded suspension. Also, none of it's competition from back then are still around.

I cringed when he held the key in the start position. He needs to learn when to let off the effing key. :ohdamn::nono::notgood:
