2g? Hard to tell from the photo, but that might be the check valve for the fuel tank vent line. If I'm correct, the other side connected to the charcoal vapor canister, which is currently missing. You can just leave it vented to atmosphere.
 
Shinzon is correct, If you skipped/deleted all the emissions then you can leave it although some recommend running a line out of the engine bay. If you plan on hooking it up then the vacuum diagrams can be found online easily.
