I have an AEM EMS for my 2g and I have an EVO iii intake manifold with an AEM map sensor. my questions are what else do I need to make the car run with this set up and how to set it up? I haven't done any tuning or rewiring off the maf so I pretty much have to start this set up from scratch. I also need a little bit of help on AIT wiring and map wiring to the EMS. if anyone has any suggestions for parts references or how to's please let me know

You need a MAP sensor, an AIT sensor and a wideband O2 sensor at least. Then set the sensors and tune the car in AEM Pro or AEMTuner (depending on the version of your EMS). the software comes with a template to startup the engine but it is not for running. See the attached pic for the wiring. The wiring of MAP, AIT and Wideband O2 sensor is the same between 30-1310 and 30-6310.

Remember to tune ignition very carefully and use some sort of knock detection while tuning as knock can/will destroy the engine. Safest is to hire a dyno and do most of the tuning there. They will also have some knock detection system which you also may hire.

Ok I have purchased a speed density kit that has a gm map, iat, and I already have a wideband. My question is do they actually have to be hardwired to the ems or just to the harness itself
