I have a walbro 450, 6an tank to rail, fuel lab pressure regulator and stock return line.

After my engine rebuild and upgrading some parts I can not get my fuel pressure to drop at idle. I am going to pull the hanger back out and make sure I drilled out the siphon already. My question is, is it possible I am over running the stock return line? Would using the stock feed line as return help? If I use the stock feed line what size hose would I need to fit over it, is it ok to just flare the Hardline and put a hose and clamp on?

Feed as return is better. As to hose side I don't remember. They do make fitting for hard line to AN fittings too. Did you change thing to the fuel system?

With this rebuild I changes the injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter and feed line. Previously had an evo9 fuel pump on stock lines.

I had to cut the feed line on the engine bay side because it had a kink in it.

Mine gets to stock pressure and I'm using the stock return line w/ a 450 pump and fuellab regulator. I haven't modified the pump in any way so I don't know that drilling the siphon is going to make a difference here.

I had the same issue that I couldnt get it below 50psi at idle. I already had -6an feed but stock return line and a drilled siphon. So I switched lines, I used the unused oem feed line as my return line and it fixed my issue. For sure the oem feed line is bigger than the oem return line.
Just switch lines at the FPR and at the fuel tank location
