im tuning the car my self. im getting very rich condition during coasting after letting off the throttle.
im still messing with my speed den. map for wot, its very close but any and all help welcome!!!

attached is 1st gear WOT and logged also is my rich coasting off throttle issue,

ive looked and tried numerous things but nothing seems to help (tps delta, injbatteryadj, coasting fc offset)

i also got a re-man alternator from car quest and yea i know 12.5v at idle but at 1200 rpm i get full voltage just no time to change it. so for now i compensated some things to make it work

What’s today? BUMP DAY!!

Input anyone?!

I have the EXACT same problem. At first I thought it was a combination of exhaust leaks and WB sensor position. (Mine is just in front of the cat). I fixed some (but probably not all) exhaust leaks. No change.

I have a similar set up to yours except I'm still running stock MAF and FPR.

My car only started doing this about a year ago. Before that it didn't do it. So something has changed.

I wish I had more input for you. I watched this thread as soon as you posted it hoping someone would have an answer.

There is another thread similar to this, but there was no solution to my issue. So I started another one!!!

You have set the coasting offset way to high (410) set it to 100 , but if you want to keep it at 410 you have to tune the cells that are being used .

the coasting offset is that high because i started at 0 and worked my way up to 410 to see if it would fix my problem, but it didnt, so its back to 0 as of now

Mine is 0 as well.
Well I figured out today that my rich conduction happens at 1300rpm down to idle then idles normal, so if I’m driving at 1500rpm a let go of the throttle it’s normal, going all the way lean, but as soon as the rpm’s drop from 1500 to 1300 my rich condition kicks in.

HELP

Is your 4-pin tps adjusted properly where it reads "closed throttle" when your foot is not on the gas. If it never detects the throttle being fully closed then this would definitely cause the problem you're describing. You cannot base this off of what % the throttle reads when closed either, it HAS GOT TO actuate the closed throttle switch.

post new log

new log attached

if you see in the log, yes the tps is adjusted correctly and the idle switch pin is active during my problem. i even tried to simulate the idle switch and it does the same thing. so i turned it back off

attached is a new log from this morning, look for under 1500prm @ 0% throttle and you will see its lean like its should be then it switches to super rich, like 10-11 afr

this image is from the beginning of the log, you can see the sudden rich condition as there is no throttle and then it begins to lean out

How do the values in the cells where the problem is happening correlate to those around them when the problem is present?

Sorry, I don't have DSMLink so I cannot view your log files or tunes.

i can fix the problem by lowering the cells but the cell will go from 60 to like 30 to fix it and i think thats too low but ill give it a try. i was also going to lock it in open loop and adjust the cells that way?

I'll check when I get home. I have also automatic.
let me know what you think

The cells are being used only on decel there is no load on the engine there the for you will only use those cells only on decel so go ahead and change them all of the cells above idling cell can be changed.

I lowered the cells last night and it still drops to like 10 and I dropped the cells 25 points

I had a similar problem when my ISC was dead. Check that your ISC is still in the proper working range when idling.
I will recheck my isc in my log

well i did some searching and found out my aeromotive fuel pressure regulator was bad, is was sipping from the vacuum port. i just went out and bought a fuel lab pressure reg. and my rich condition is now fixed!!!! now i have to re tune the sd table to compensate for the more stable fuel pressure -_-

How did you even notice the problem with the AFPR?
