RRE used to make a 25 mm rear "man bar." haha

This guy here just had one replicated.

I actually purchased this rear away bar from the individual in the video earlier in the year. I, like many others, was not exactly thrilled with the aftermarket rear sway bar options for 2G AWD DSM's and I figured it was worth a try since no one had a RM rear sway available. The only other option was custom, but I was quoted roughly $1200-$1600 for a custom adjustable rear sway and that seemed ridiculous for my needs. The bar seems fairly well built but "man bar" might be pushing it a little LOL.

I think you mean RRE rear sway bar...

Gotcha... Considering we have no decent options I'd be open to any bigger sway bar but would prefer a big rear sway like RRE/MachV 25mm rear sway bar.

I'd be in for a rear sway bar too. I have a ST rear sway bar but took it off due to it pushing down my exhaust. Went back to stock but would love one to fit with my stm exhaust.

Any clue how many people would be needed to get some interest in manufacturing these again?

Alright guys, I just heard back from Dan.

"We have to make sway bars in large batches, like 75 at a time. Our last batch took a long time to sell through...
I'd need more like 100 interested people..."

So it looks like we're going to need get some more members involved!

Could we get 100 people who are serious about buying a new RM Racing sway bar set (or just rear bar) for our 2G awds? I think it's worth a shot.

We need to start a list so we can see where we are total. He could probably drop to a run of 50 but price point might go up a bit. I don't think it would matter though since most of us looking would pay the difference just to have new rear bars alone.

Yup i was right, uppon googling if its not treated and properties are restored the steel is now super brittle and can break by the weld, and powder coating also messes with the steel if its not normalized, well thats what google says anyway

That doesn't sound good. Can anyone else give their input? I don't want to spend money on something that won't last. Will be down for at least a rear RM bar if that is the case.

I'd definitely get a set! (Front/Rear)

In order to do this right we need Dan to create a group buy thread in the Vendor forum to start the list there. If we don't hit the mark, we don't hit the mark, but that's where we would need this to be posted. I'll send him a note asking him to post it and include requirements.

In for a front and rear! Are the rears gonna be fwd or awd versions? I think there’s a difference. If there is, you can put me down for a front and both an awd and fwd rear sway bar. I haven’t converted the GST yet
