Man the 2nd one the guy doesn't even have images up LOL. I want to see what makes it a 16k car.

He said he has 150+ pics for a serious buyer, maybe we should email him.. I am in no way judging what a man thinks a car is worth, but IMHO the asking price is a bit steep without some kind of one-off making it that special...

I get that Autos are coming back strong but who in their right mind would pay 6.5K for a RS, low miles or not. Maybe 3K but even at that price where I live you can pick up GST's around here.

Its actually a GS I guess but its still an insane price low miles or not.

I don't know...that '96 is kind of a unicorn. Just try to find even a NICE '96 GSX that hasn't been molested to death. Good luck! This one sounds like it's As New condition. Couple that with ridiculously low miles...he can ask what he wants. It'd probably cost way more than that to restore one!

Use search tempest and then tell me about that unicorn status again, $16,900 buys me a low miles C5 Z06....

...and then you'd be just another of 28000 guys in a C5 Z06. I used the term "unicorn" because unicorns are rare. There probably aren't 2000 GSXs out there with less than 40,000 miles and are stock...but of course, I'm just speculating about that using common sense and educated guessing.

~110,604 mi not bad imo
The issue is that these arent built cars, they list little to no mods, so basically someone has just drove them for 20 some years and want to get most of what they cost new back out of them LOL, no way...people have to get off the "but Its an Evo" bandwagon, its a friggin Mirage with a turbo 3rd gen engine in it in essence, its not worth 15k with 100k on it, if it had 10k and was super clean yes, then you have something, but a mass produced Japanese car with over 100k miles thats decades old with normal wear on it??? umm nooooo, no way LOL just try to get a bank to loan on that thing, they will tell you what its really worth, and if you cant get a bank loan, whos going to buy it? how many people that WANT a 20 year old worn out car that actually have 15k laying around just for fun money? I would just go out and buy a $500 mirage and drop a Hyundai 4g clone in it for a few grand and have almost the same thing, minus awd but even that can be had, all for under 5k.

You forgot to convert again my dude, its 15K Canadian which translates to roughly 11K US. Also I am not sure how realistic you are being with all this, you may be able to get the parts together for under 5K but you also have to think about cost of labor... What is your time worth converting a mirage to an evo clone. I have seen people do it but it requires a little more work than just slapping on a body kit and calling it a day... But evo 8's and 9's are still going for around 17-24K over here on the west coast depending on the extent of mods, same with STI's for that matter too.... I digress

The coolest ad I saw is likely long gone, it was posted in Vancouver BC craigslist about late November.

All Black 1997 Eagle Talon TSI -automatic- brown leather interior, bone stock, 8K original miles for $8500 CAN

Buyers remorse I suppose

This is true on the conversion, I still think I would build my own.
