I may have I may have good news for both of us I also have a Nova with l76 6.0l nitrous motor and I was talking to my mechanics and he says he may know somebody who can tune ecmlink 4g63 stuff I will let you know I just got off the phone with him this morning they just opened up the shop. Hopefully we can find somebody competent.

That would be amazing because I'm having the same problem with my car.

I've seen them tune from all over the state, but I think the majority of there business is in the Orlando, Sanford area. I saw you dont do social media at all thats why i posted the link to their facebook page as you can still click that link without an account and still see all there contact information.

I was turned down by the 4 most popular shops in orlando, they will never earn my business..i found a great father and son shop in Edgewater Florida that is finishing my build for the wanna go fast half-mile and I found a premier tuner who has been doing it since the 1990s

Sounds good man i appreciate it!

high performance engineering out of Edgewater FLORIDA is a father and son both named Ivan . they are great guys from Puerto Rico and the cool thing is they love all cars they have a 7mgte Datsun 210 import a tubbed pinto a procharged Mustang a 9-second S10 Chevy and they work on Porsche and 4g63..

if anyone needs if anyone needs their number you could p.m. me they have treated me extremely well and the project is coming along great

Vin I know how you feel. My car is pretty much done and needs to be tuned also. And like you I rather have someone that is familiar with the ECMLink program to tune it. I don't have any social media stuff also so it makes it kinda hard. Kings told me if it was evo scan it would be no problem but I can bring the car and they can mess with it and figure it out (big no no for me). Real street said they only tune full standalone ecu vehicles. I didn't try the rest but you did and that was no better LOL. I was going to try Tampa next. I tried messing around with the program a little and got a little out of it, but I'm no tuner. I'm good with the wrenching part but not the tuning part and I don't want to blow up my car before I even get to enjoy it.

Im waiting to bring my car to ostar..2 places now were unable to tune.

Was HPE not able to do anything for you? For ecmlink you could go for remote tunes from one of the vendors, maybe work a Dyno day out with the tuner and the shop? Might be spendy but...gotta pay to play some how.

Or learn to tune it yourself

You can tell anyone who can just assemble and tune for a few grand cash the car is ready with all new parts.

You can give my email to anyone who has a reputable shop that knows ECMLINK.

I have quafe diff..1000hp driveshaft shop custom axles..ostar header, double clutch etc etc.

My.email is
[email protected]

My name is vincent

I was waiting in ostar to get back to me for awhile now.

I had a shop in daytona fail and a shop in edgewater do me wrong for a year waiting.

Totally understand that, not saying a monkey can do it, but there's alot of talent on here, can't hurt to talk to them and see if there's some networking to be done. Worst case might look into transporting it up to Boostin?

Maybe @keltalon @bastarddsm @95GSXracer @dacowgod @19Eclipse90 could help it might know someone

I am just curious as to how many times have you seen knock episodes like this? This is pretty high. What is your mod list? You are 6 1/2 hours from me. The only concern I have is the past knock episodes i've seen smaller knock count create issues in the coolant system. Most dsm tuners err on the side of caution when it comes to tuning dsm these day parts are limited in the event something happens.

Jeff from Keydiver chips is down in Key West area, Im not sure if he still does much of anything though.

This was one of the reasons I ditched ECMlink. Not becaue it was not a great product. No-one wanted to tune it. Every time I called someone, they asked what ECU I had. When I said ECMlink they said nope. The ones that considered it, kind of turned a nose up at me. smh. I ended up going with a Link EVO8 G4+.

With a 8 year build thread on the link forum, one would think you figured out how to tune it yourself like everyone else on there.

John Whalen, Whalen Speed R & D runs Link EVO8 ECU's and tunes. My son had a Link ECU in his 97 Talon that John did, but he is going back to DSMLink for ease of use and will have the Link ECU up for sale on here pretty soon. You can hit John up, and he does remote tuning.

be positive ;)
He was being positive LOL. No worries. He had a point. I could have. I learned to build a car, surly i could have learned to tune it. However. I have so much money invested, I did not want to take a chance on messing anything up. I mean, after all, would you want to take a chance on a car that took you 8 years to build? Also the car has been finished, I just keep changing my mind on things and adding new or better things.

Thank you for the help. I found a guy. she is going on the on the 13th. I also wanted other option in an ecu that Ecmlink did not offer. Again, thank you.

Even "The Shop Houston" wouldn't tune it? They flipping advertise they will. Weirdos. Small wonder they don't want to reply to me requesting dyno time.

I just use a guy I trust to remote tune mine (your old shit). He is fairly well known. But I don't have some wild 1000+hp build either.

Anytime. I am a vast knowledge of useless information sometimes, but EVERY now and then, it is helpful. :idontknow:

I have nothing but great things to say with the Link ecu, its lightyears ahead of Dsmlink, why in the world would you want to ditch it?

Not me, my son. He is used to tuning himself with DSMLink. To each their own. I have never had a nice ECU so DSMLink is all I have ever messed with. I am sure it is just a different layout but that's what he wants to do.

I've read it's more difficult to use than ecmlink. Is that true? If you can tune on ecmlink can you jump into to Link or is it much more complicated?
