I just finishi a koni eibach prokit install. I had an identical set up on my 1G all wheel drive. The ride quality is poor on this 2g.
Most of the suspension bushings are new and all of the ball joints and tie rods are new. I did the install in two stages with the fronts first. I did neglect to trim the front bump stops. However the ride quality was good with just the fronts. When I finished the rear I did trim the rear bump stops 3/4 of an inch. Overall the ride quality is poor no matter what settings I choose on the shocks. I am either going to return the car to stock ride height or choose a different spring rate and install a DG setup. Comments are welcome including those that might just say I'm too old. This may just be the case but as I recall my 1g rode even better tha stock. 2g...not so much. The car is going in for an alignment today. I may just drive it around for another week or two but unless somebody can point out something I may have missed the suspension will have to go.

FEAL or something along those lines can be the fix you are looking for, I know they are pricey but save up and don't look back, the 2G will handle better too..

I have never thought much of the setup you just installed, I know it is popular per se(because it is cheap I suppose) but you get what you pay for in ride quality..

Cost isn't an object here. I was satisfied with the setup on my 1g. It wasn't a race car and neither is this one. I don't want race car handling, just better than stock and a decent ride. I got the better handling. It's probably more than I can drive on the street. Similar to my 1g I couldn't push it hard enough to push. I didn't have the balls to do so. This one I probably can but I'm also on different tires vs some really sticky yokohamas. Right now I have two issues I guess. Ride quality and I think the car may be too low, even though it's only 1.25" drop I think. I scrape the front fascia on everything. 2gb talon nose is so long. It doesn't feel like anything is rubbing and I don't see any marks on anything. I know it won't affect ride quality but driveability will be better after tordays alignment. I just finished a week before the shootout so I haven't had time to get an alignment until today.

Is the pro kit the kit with the coilperch like coilovers just not the best type?

I had koni yellows not sure if they are the same but mine were great, perhaps they need to settle in as all shocks and coilovers do whe they first get installed

Many moons ago I ran Eibach Pro Kit with the Tokiko Illumina shocks http://www.extremepsi.com/store/product.php?productid=17534&cat=632&page=1

I found that setup to be comfortable on my 2G but I did not have stock suspension to compare to. When I bought my car it was on cut factory coils and blown shocks so anything was an improvement at the time. From that setup I went to a full coilover setup from JIC that was significantly harsher for daily driving.
