I have sold several sets of these tires and haven't heard a single complaint beyond the short lifespan on the track. Have fun with them!I've been autocrossing on the same all season tires I drive on all the time. So I'm pretty excited to have these RE-71Rs to play on now.
Why not go to a 40 wall? Its still within specs of wheel rotation speeds, plus its a better stiffer tire with the smaller wall and will aid a bit more side loading/gripI've been autocrossing on the same all season tires I drive on all the time. This was my first time running the Potenza RE-71R tires and man did they really improve grip in the corners over my Hankook Ventus all seasons (duh). But an unintended side effect is it showed a suspension tuning opportunity. I'm going to need to figure out what I can do to keep that inside rear tire on the ground.

These are the only two I got of yours:
Many reasons as to why your wheel is off the ground but i woud first start with adjusting front rebound or perhaps consider upping spring rates, if its falling flat on its face in a corner then its possible the wrong shick setup/spring rate and now needs adjusting. Its also down to a transfer weight balance but thats not as easy to tell but it does seem a tad soft up front from the dive its taking when cornering
No problems, its pretty common for fwd and awd for the rears to lift, Rwd tents to lift the front! Thanks for the input. I have some older JIC FLT-A2 coil overs on the car. They are one way adjustable so I think my next step will be to play with the shocks available one way adjustment. Then look at running a higher spring rate in the front if that doesn't do it.
What! Thats sad newsSo a crazy thing happened today, I bought a 2011 CTS-V Sedan. So after 12 years of loving and working on my GSX it is time for us to part ways. I'm about to make the for sale post. I'm pretty sad about it but I do love the extra space and awesomeness that comes with the V.
