Ok guys my 95 gsx has a nightmare from previous owners and causing several issues for me, had a axis aftermarket keyless entry alarm(door locks, horn, trunk, panic functions) Apexi pen turbo timer, several aftermarket gauges aem wb n oil psi, autometer boost, prosport volts n oil temp, greddy profec b, car also has ecmlink v3... They left atleast 5 hot wires stripped not connected to anything, a bunch of unconnected dead wires, used masking tape n twist connectors, I'm gonna solder, shrink wrap, tape all connections, depin connectors where needed and loom everything. Where would you suggest I start the ecu? Also anyone have wiring diagrams that would make it easier or helpful I have all oem ones just looking for other helpful stuff.

Here's some pics of the mess I got to deal with

There are two harnesses under the dash: The front harness, and the cluster harness. You likely won't touch the cluster harness. The front harness U's out the driver's side, around the front of the car, and in through the passenger's side. That harness is a monster. I could see making sure that any live wires are properly terminated, but if you have a dash in the car then don't bother looming anything. If you're going dash-less, then good luck...you'll need to do a lot of work to the harness to make it look and route decently. I spent a couple of months taking my old stock harness and turning it into a barebones harness for my car. It was not fun, it took forever (and I have the right tools and the Electrical FSM), and I ended up scrapping it anyways to wire the car from scratch (build one).

That's what I'm afraid of in a sense, car will keep a dash, basicly be a race car, at this point I just want it done right. I just did a chassis harness tuck n fuse box relocate have about 200 hours into that job LOL came out clean and only spent about 150bucks in supplies for a more durable harness and upgraded connectors kinda like ohmracings mil spec harnesses

Good God that looks like the mess I had in a GST back in 2010. I'm not a stranger to wiring jobs, but if mine were to look like that, I'd just replace the entire harness and be done with it. However, if I were to salvage the current harness, I'd start at the ECU and trace each wire to its corresponding component and eliminate the unneeded mess, and tuck and loom it all at the same time.

Where's fuse box??

Have you considered purchasing a replacement dash harness from somewhere like Miller import parts? I'm all for trying to salvage parts, but it could save you a lot of work, and eliminate any concerns of an under-dash fire.

Side note, super jealous of your Durango copper car. It's on my bucket list.

In case you haven't already figured these main connector names out:

Awesome thanks and i havent i spent a good 4 or 5 hours, removing tape, curting zip ties, and tracing wires...smh i found atleast 70ft of nice audio cable like 8 gauge just tucked under the carpet, the previous owners are so random n garbadge mechanics i get good laughs from it....i dont wana buy another harness due to them being ao old n more bad connectors...this cars just a hobby for me n i dont really care if iy moves or not this year i got other riceburners to drive for fun LOL,

As far as airbag removal someone already took the control box under the center console so i figured might as well do it right and remove all those harnesses that was a task to say the least and ran into something weird it was tied into the cs player harness? A few went towards passenger n others driver side at main harness going acrossed dash, anyone know where they go so i can depin at the connector n pull them towards the center. Before anyone says its not safe cars getting bride fixed back seats,harnessbar,4 points, and a bit of a cage just behind the seat going feom floor to roof and back down.

Last pic before my new intake manifold,80mm tb,n fuel rail came ao i thru those on
