ok can u give me a site where they sell auto ones for front and rear inserts? PLEASE? i searched everywhere and nthing came up

They don't make them in poly. You either have to fabricate your own or find something that will fit. I have heard that the 420a mounts will work with a 2g auto but I can not confirm that.

EDIT: I was misinformed on this topic so disregard this post. Apparently they will work.

The manual kit fits an auto!

The front and rears slip in just fine, (these also suck btw) they dont do much.

The trans and timing side mount replacements work either way as they are the same size,

I am auto and used to use the prothane kit and i bought the manual kit so i know it works,

The big side replacements are good, the front and rear inserts are crap, mine snapped and cracked within the year i installed them,

Honestly just buy all oem and you will be good to go. Look in the classifieds, there are likely a few people selling good used sets for dirt cheap. You said you are in college so just giving you a affordable yet completely plausible solution.

I also use a manual kit in my auto. The engine/trans mounts and the front/rear roll stop inserts fit. I converted my AWD car from 5spd to auto last year.

i was in this same boat as this guy and no one knew so i went ahead and tried and it worked! i just wish they redesigned the front and rear inserts as they really are crap LOL

First to the OP, what car do you have? Turbo or N/T? It's hard to give good help without knowing your specifics (& you have no profile filled out).

When I did my front/rear roll stop inserts I filled the OEM's holes in the rubber with some polyurethane from Home Depot, made a couple stand off washer to sandwich the inserts, clamped them in a vise, & let them dry for several days while I finished doing my clutch install. I used mineral spirts to clean up the oozed goo. If the polyurethane is fairly thick it will take a considerable amount of time to cure. They came out nice & stiff, like the left & right side polyurathane mounts & have not failed or detiorated yet & it's been sveral years since I did this. Worked really well.

Well I stand corrected then. All the sites that sell them say manual only. Will not fit auto. I swore ive heard other people say they didnt fit too. As in the holes dont line up and you have to switch the mounts brackets as well

Your thinking of the oem mounts, these are just the inserts, for his oem mounts, so auto is still for auto and manual is still for manual but the inserts are for both and thas what he is asking,

I believe some of the kits that I was looking at have inserts for the front and rear that utilize the stock bushing, but are an add-on of some sort to stiffen the stock bushing? I guess those things apparently will not work on an auto. Guess I never realized that they were not complete replacements and just assumed that they did not fit.

thank you so much for ur replies, i ordered the rear front inserts , thank god they fit as what ur saying !
now ima insert them when they arrive , and ill get oem sides, :D

i got a turbo bro 1995 auto fwd ,
thats what im going to do , im gna insert m stock mounts with rubbers with poly inserts! and i will glue them with wind sealer thing

Just to add some information here. If your car ever had the rear roll stop replaced with something like the DEA model the insert will not fit. It must be OEM style, like Anchor. And yes, the inserts suck; fitment is terrible. If you just get the sides and fill the roll sops with urethane you're better off, or if I remember correctly I only used one tube of loctite 3x premium for all four mounts. Cost like $5. I even drilled a few holes in the front to soften it up a bit as my FWD with no balance shafts was making my boost gauge pop out. That was years ago, still good.
