I completely agree with you about it not being as easy as I thought. I have both link v3 in my tsi and ceddymods in my gst. I think ecuflash and evo scan are much easier to understand than link but I know when I do figure it out link will kick @$$. I've read everything a bunch of times and starting to grasp things. Sorry didn't mean to jack your thread, I'll be watching for responses.

The more I read the lore confused I get. I had stuff checked and car wouldn't start. I understand that it's easy for people that use all the time. I'm in my 50's and trying to dial in. I touch one thing n something else goes bonkers. Left log here maybe someone will save my poor car from torture. No worried blow it up. More resoonses may help

And FWIW is daunting at first, but it's hands down the most user friendly tuning solution I've used. You NEED TO WATCH ALL THE HOW-TO VIDEOS

I'm confused because you say you "did some pulls" but I dont really see any pulls "being done" nothing over 4500. and you need to change the settings in which the car detects knock. It should be about 3000RPM/30% throttle.

I can't get it over 35-3800, this my problem too. I have fixed wiring problem, link couldn't read afr or coolant temps. I've adjusted base timing, switched to sd, deleted maf, prolab filter, afr, 6an fittings, 450 intank walboro, replaced timing belt, plugs at. 028,1600cc Bosch injectors, intercooler ,Godspeed radiator. Compression test I believe 155 lbs. Only unknown is internals of engine. Ran very well before on his vein controller with 660 inn, maf, went to sd, ecm, now I'm lost. Thanks for help, totally understand and don't want to waste anyone's time.

Oh BTW congratulations on the new baby girl. It's no big deal I've been working on this over 3 yes. Almost wish I had left it alone but I know this thing will rock. Only looking for 450-500 hp. I think I have the right stuff to get job done, almost forgot Mitsubishi 20g turbo.2g fuel rail.

Didn't look at the log but when you did the walbro 450 did you drill out the siphon? Also have you checked for boost leaks? That's sometimes an easy fix.
And what is your fuel pressure set at?

Are you moving in that log? It says 0mph the whole time.
A couple things I noticed, I don't see the TPS ever hit 0%, if you don't have your foot on the pedal the whole time in that log, it needs some adjustment. Your front o2 signal isn't cycling, and the ecu is not going in closed loop. I see you have the displacement set to 2.3l, is this correct? That sd table is out of whack for sure, I would upload the default one and start from there. Your knock sensor is doing some weird stuff too, like a constant 3.2* knockret with random big spikes. You may need a one, or perhaps it's loose/in the wrong hole.

Also not sure if I'm displaying the right value for your WB, but the value AEManalogWB is showing a constant 8.5:1. It looks like you have an AEM 3.5 bar map sensor listed on the baro pin for datalogging, and the Omni 4 bar listed on the baro for sd operation, make sure you have the right one selected.

A lot of info, I am moving. My guages aren't working in dash cluster. Teach or speedo. I keep adjusting tps, best I get is 1%,.front o2 is arm wide band uego. Afr not reading is been problem, not sure if set up right in link. I thought knock was from timing but I'm struggling with understand ing ecm

quick update, you guys are awesome btw. pulled battery and checked knock sensor.of course it was unplugged,im guessing from when i changed out the welded pos IM somebody tried to port. are the dtc checks supposed to be checked in boxes at all times? might be why o2 not cycling.im doing my best.thanks again to everyones help

Albert,

1) Post your entire setup please (all relevant mods)
2) Change your load scale to 100% (unless you have a stroker)
3) Change your displacement to 2.0L (unless you have a stroker)
4) what is your fuel pressure set to with the car on and the vacuum hose off?
5) That SD table is insane. Where did you get that?
6) I think your wideband switchpoint is jacked up. look at this link and input the correct switchpoint https://www.ecmtuning.com/wiki/v3narrowbandsim

Hi Vegas, thanks for replying to my almost desperate crisis LOL. My complete setup is. 272 web cams, Mitsubishi 20g turbo, fuel lab filter, fpr, 1600 Bosch injectors, fmic, sd setup from ecm, not sure on stroke, trying to get a hold of previous owner. Stock ignition system. Anything else you need let le know. Thanks again

Turn the car on and remove the small vacuum line from the fpr and set the gauge to 43.5 then update your fuel pressure number in ecmlink to 43.5 under the fuel tab. I would consider resetting your ve table to stock for now.

reset fuel,o2 to 3.12 volts switchover.nothing changed.

Albert.....your VE table is absolutely jacked. Copy and paste this table as a starting point:
This is probably 99% of your problem. Also, you're not suing a MAF so zero-out your MAF comp/clamp tabs
