Hey quick question, has anyone gotten the ETS street intercooler? I need to know If it comes with piping..they only show the intercooler on the site i tried looking on the site to see if there was a separate piping area that I had to order from but I can't find any..only thing that worries me is when I look under other makes of cars like the evox they will have have one that says intercooler then one that says intercooler piping, which I dont see for the 2g's

Unfortunately the piping from ETS for their 2g intercoolers have been discontinued.. I have been searching for a while to hopefully find one pop up somewhere as a full kit but no luck.

It doesn't really say much in the description but watching one of the videos on the page for the intercooler kit might help you. There are at least 2 showing the setup and one shows the kit completely built but not on the car with a decent view of the flange. Other then that judging by the options on the site itself where it asks what outlet style you need between 14b/16g or "downward facing", I'd imagine the downward facing option would be for the stock turbo. Best thing you can do is contact someone from Punishment and ask via email before you buy. Looks like a nice kit though for a good price.

Punishment is a good kit. I really like mine. I have a 16g, and i don't think it would work with the t25 since it is a "side firing" turbo if you will. Best is just to call them and see what they say. You really don't need it for a t-25 though. Better to upgrade the turbo first.

Now be careful with your upgrade path.. no sense in a FMIC or exhaust for your t-25 if you're going to upgrade later to a different turbo. ;) Maybe consider doing your fuel system (pump/injectors) while you look for that new turbo. Or if you haven't already, get your engine management setup.

Lmao..i have a walbro 255, did the fuel pump rewire, I also have 750cc FIC injectors and a fuelab AFPR..im going the tactrix route and ordering that tomorrow..but I NEED A TURBO? Anybody wanna give me one?...or I guess sell me one

Technically the poor little T25 runs so hot at only 15 psi it would probably benefit from a fmic :p

Why don't you go with a VRSF kit? That's what I went with and it worked great with my E316G. On the hottest day in summer I could romp on the car and when I go to park it I would touch the driver's side of the intercooler and it's piping hot, then I touched the passenger side and it's ice cold. It's also cheap and comes with piping.

VRSF kit you have to chop up the core support. Punishment you don't and they are the same price.

Good luck filling that huge front mount with that tiny t-25. Maybe you will hit full boost by 4500 RPM.

I'm pretty sure the PR kit is just a generic eBay kit that they rebranded as their own.

Say what you want, it works, is decent quality, and many many people on here have them. VRSF is the same type of component. Comparable to "CR Racing" or whatever the ebay brand is. Only difference is both vendors actually are on this site and stand behind their product.

Okay i have a VERY weird problem..whenever I start the car, it starts and idles but it sounds like the starter keeps trying to engage, like it sounds like it's still cranking while it's running..this ever happen to anyone?

No grinding, if someone with knowledge with these cars is avalible for a video call so I can show you exactly what's going on would really help..this is my first build and I'm really lost as to what's going on..ive read about this happening with other cars and they say to replace the starter..but id just like it if someone can see and hear what's happening and just tell me what they think it is

Best thing to do would be to bench test your starter which isn't too hard. Little labor involved but if your ignition isn't sticking or having electrical issues that's what I'd do.

It usually has something to do with the last thing your changed. Start there.

Found out it was a bad bendix on my starter..only thing that made me think I wired something wrong is it didn't do this in till after I put the uego in..so I was in my head like oh shit I broke something..but new starter and I'm back rolling

Well I've been pretty quiet on here..havent been having much going on just waiting on parts really. BUT this week should be fun..everything's coming in this week

Today =Tactrix cable
Tomorrow= PR fmic kit, 16g turbo, walbro fuel pump.. And then just installing it all

So how's the point where i get excited..i think I'm ready for more boost.
Pictured above is the PR FMIC kit, cx racing turbo *yeah yeah I know* walbro 255 fuel pump.
*not pictured* FIC 750cc injectors,Fuelab AFPR.
& TacTrix openport 2.0
If you haven't been following I already have a fp intake,2.5" turbo back exhaust,AEM wideband, glowshift boost gauge, MBC, all maintenance has been done, also had the head rebuilt, so I think everything should be in order now

Couldn't wait had to test fit..tim at punishment racing really hooked me up with super fast shipping. And it looks really good..debating if I should have it coated white. Keep the panda theme going under the hood

That's not a china-charger is it? The parts look good though, if you want free big maps software for your ECU you know who to hit up ;)
