When running an evo 3 intake manifold, I know it's possible to run the stock 2g coil pack with it, but is it okay to run stock evo 3 spark plug wires on a stock 2g coil pack?

Yes. No problems. I ran 2G plug wires with my EVO 3 intake. My intake came with the coil bracket so my coils & the NGK 2G wires fit really nice.

Well sort of. For me 2G & EVO 3 coils are the same coils also. But I did this on a 95 so the firing order is the same on both cars.

EDIT: The plug wires will not care what coils you have. They're basically just plug wires.

I used to do the evo 2-3 intake manifold + the 2g coils in evo's stock location + the evo1-3 spark plug wires. It is just the spark plug wires for evo have 90 degrees angle for the coil side.

At the time I did not have a picture of the stock NGK 2G plug wires used with the Evo 3 intake & coil bracket, so I took one. I think they fit pretty darn well.

Right on man thank you for the picture as well!

They are just spark plug wires good lord LOL. Common sense. This is one of the dumbest posts ive seen on tuners. Not hatin, just bein real.

You just wasted a few seconds of your life posting something that was completely useless. And your car has one of the ugliest paint jobs I've seen on tuners. Not hatin, just bein real.

Glad you found my picture heplful. If you need I can take the cover off the plug valley so you can see how they fit under it.

That would be great Mello! I want to make sure that, if I can just save like $100 and get the stock 2g wires, it will still look clean. I'm not sure if the lengths differ between the two so I want it to look as clean as possible.

Here's a few from different angles.. I noticed my previous picture was a lot straight up down. These are have more of a side viewing angle. The little OEM wire comb thingie by the oil cap pops up a little along the edge closest to the coils with the cover off so there's a same angle picture with the cover on too.

Edit: I got the wires from Rockauto for about $55 plus the shipping.
