Okay so i have not owned the car very long but ever sense i have it has had a slight sputter in the higher rpms, then recently it started to feel like it had some resistance when i would give it gas and the car would slightly pull back then it would clear up and pull fine after a few seconds, then just 3 days ago it started bucking and misfiring a bunch I managed to get it home, i put new plugs in, didn't help, then new wires, and a diffrent coil with no effect. So i wiggled the injectors and tapped on the power transistor and the car started driving perfect. Better then it ever has and my wideband was better also. Before it sat at 16 and dipped down to maybe 12, now it will drop to high 9. So i drove down to the store turned the car off when i got back it was running like crap again. Only thing I can think of now is power transistor? I pulled the wires 1 at a time while the car was running 2 of the wires would make a 2" spark nice and blue to the valve cover, the other 2 (middle two) I have to hold almost a 1/4 inch off to see a yellowish spark.

I took the connector off and put it back on tight and wiggled it and its still running like crap. I see alot of people say they have no spark when there's goes out but i have weak spark thats the only reason im not too sure if that may be the cause?

Worth taking a look at your ecu and check for caps leaking. Also inspect the wiring under the loom if possible. Man I hate random problems like this. Part of owning a dsm is to begin hoarding parts just for cases like this. I literally have like 3 sensors of everything since these things are getting older and harder to come by.

Still acting funny. I cant tell if its gas issue or spark but im starting to lean more to a bad injector or my 190 is dying? I can hear the pump running ill upload a video

side note when it starts running like this is started taking off the injector clips a few times the car finally starts idling normal. When it's running choppy like this injector 1 I can hear a tick and when i unplug it then it goes away but when the cars running normal its fine. Should I start with fuel filter? Someone local is selling some did 850cc for 60 bucks I may just get them and send them in... No for so I'm not sure what the pressures like.

here is what my dsmlink shows while the problam is going on. my wideband is stuck on 9? it use to read the same as dsmlink. But on the display in the car its pegged at 16.
I pulled the spark plugs this morning 3/4 had the white chalk on them the 4th looks new with nothing on it

So while looking over all the fuel lines I noticed the hard vent line for the gas tank does NOT have the pressure release valve attached. It's just the hard line by itself. Is this fine or could this be my issue?

Ok so right off the bat you should notice that your front O2 isn't cycling. It thinks that it is rich all the time. This would help to account for the ridiculous amount of fuel it is trying to pull. It looks like you are simulating the front O2. Is this a recent change?

White "chalk" is a lean condition indicator. post a picture of the plugs. IT seems to me like something freaked out and cause your front O2 simulation to go to crap and then your car started pulling fuel like crazy.

Any of this sound plausible?

I somehow ripped out the wire going into the ecu. This is how I bought the car so I'm going to take it to English racing to tune it because I feel its hard to learn it with a crap tune on it. I already don't know what I'm doing I feel I need a good platform to start on

Ripped out what wire? Solder those things. It will help a lot.

You should be able to wire it back up and then reset your fuel trims. Learning to tune yourself isn't hard, just time consuming, but at least if you still wanted to take it somewhere you would understand what they were doing, how safe it is for your vehicle, and where you may be able to get more out of it. Plus you avoid taking it back every time you tweak something or change out some parts.

Up to you, but worth it if you are interested.

It was a yellow wire connecting to the white ecu wire. I think it was when I replaced the radio. I honestly do want to learn it and it seems like something I could learn but I feel like I was handed something that was taken apart and I have to put it together. I feel it would be alot easier if it had a good tune then I could make adjustments and learn as I go from there. Or if you wanted to work with me to help me get this thing setup decent but right now the tune feels like crap and it knocks really easy I'm more afraid of hurting the motor so I just baby ot anywhere I go

You're going to need to get the car straightened out before taking it for a tune, or you'll be pissing in the wind. Mechanical failures aren't going to be corrected by a tune.

1) Which coil did you replace? 1/4 or 2/3?
2) Make sure your yellow wire on the ecu is reconnected. That's your front o2 simulation wire from the gauge. Its not much to get working properly

The car is mechanically working now, I fixed the wire, and thought the coil was out that's why I replaced it, turned out to not be the coil but the wire issue. After I fixed the wire the car is now running correct its just a crappy tune on it now

With your setup, it shouldn't be too hard to get it dialed in. Do you have a log of when it knocks? I suggest starting a new thread with the ECMlink tab in the title asking for help with your tune to get it somewhere where you can drive it hard and not get knock. Make sure to fill out the 14 or so questionaire when you start your thread.

I'm not a tuning genius, but we have similar set-ups so I should be able to help you out. Also, if you haven't yet, get on the ecmlink wiki, watch the videos and do some reading.

You really need to try and learn how to tune minimally yourself that way you actually know what's going on when they make changes to your car, and can therefore learn from that as well. If you know nothing, then you will most likely get nothing out of the tune session except for the tune itself.

Alright ill try it again i just got bashed last time because a bunch of stuff has been messed with that apparently wasn't suppose to and. They just said "fix it" then I was lost. I rewatched all the videos again last night, about my 6th time now. I'll see if I cant get a half decent tune I understand some of it

TBH, the videos on ecmlink are almost worthless. Look up Scott Laird on YouTube. He has setup videos as well as cruise/WOT. I'm learning how to tune as we speak so I feel your pain. I'll be off for the next week WOT tuning my car so feel free to send me logs and I can look at them.
