Looking to find a shop in the Charlotte, NC area that provides corner balancing, ride height, alignment services. The shop I was going to use, has stopped offering their services to the public.

Have you tried calling the performance factory in concord? Im not sure if they do it or not, I just know there a pretty big shop. Just throwing suggestions out there. Haha

I haven't. Have you used them before?

I've got tunes done there before but that's it. They're pretty good people, if they can't do it im sure they'll point you in the right direction.

A friend that lives nearby recommended GMP Performance in Charlotte.

Pompeii motor in greenville was offering that service.

There's gotta be a few places in Mooresville that do it. There's like a dozen race chassis shops on Hwy 152 alone.

You'd be amazed at how many shops won't touch our cars, even after telling them it's a full racecar. They have a big back log of guys needing set up work for dirt track and asphalt cars that they don't have time for other vehicles.

Thanks for the info John, I had to twist their arm a little as they don't typically work on anything other than European vehicles but.... GMP Performance has agreed and they'll perform a corner balance, ride height, and alignment service work. However they do not have the tools to correct bump steer. So I'll either have to buy the tools myself and do it or find another shop that can. FYI, this service takes somewhere between 5-6 hours and is only offered Mon.-Fri.

I'm hoping to deliver the car to them sometime in early to mid-June and will update afterward.

What did they quote you for price?

Once I finished getting all the suspension stuff from the guru's who are making and designing stuff. I need to get my car done.

I honestly don't remember because whatever price they quoted, it was based on a having prior experience with a vehicle. So because they don't typically work on DSM's and aren't familiar with the vehicle it will be a higher rate because it'll take longer.
