whats the difference this will be my first full build should i run long rod 2.1 destroker or 2.0 fully built i am wanitng 40 psi 95 talon awd set up either a 6266 or a s366 turbo whats the pros and cons or the 2.0 and 2.1 destroker

For your first build I'd stick with the stock 2.0. Factory crank and rod length. Keep it simple..... set goals that are attainable and not far fetched. I see so many guys saying I want to build a 1000whp street car......I'm just finishing my 6266 2.0 setup and I can say from experience that it wasn't easy. It takes a lot of time and a shitload of money. 40 psi is a lot of boost pressure..... I hope you have deep pockets

I have experience with builds, just not DSM's. I'm hoping to build a solid street car that'll make in the 700's. I'll be taking it slow and have plenty of time to get it right. I was looking at your build, did you go with I beam's? I've been pricing out and looking at different builds but can't decide if I want the extra displacement. By the way, I'm right around the corner from Danbury in Stamford. Moving to NC in a few weeks though :'(
